"Meet at a hot tub -- good ones, bad ones?"

Hi folks.

I'm totally new to this. I've noticed some providers offer to meet at a "hot tub", which is what I think I would call a spa. The only such place I've ever visited is the rather classy, and expensive, Watercourse Way in Palo Alto.

A quick tour of Yahoo's Yellow Pages reveals a lot of "day spa" businesses in the South SF Bay. Have you visited any for an appointment? Did you feel safe? What did you pay?

Most hot tub places that the ads speak of are paid for by the hr around .4. The doors lock and there tends to be a bed in the room. There is a place in San Lorenzo on Hesperian blvd that charges by the hr go give it a look

Just want to add that you can go solo (and scope out the hot tubs) and they usually go for 19-$25. The one in San Lorenzo is $25 for single person. I definitely like that one.

Thanks for that list, I didn't know it was on RB. BTW the Paradise Spa listed in Fremont is now closed, I believe, at least their phone # was changed and is now disconnected. Anyone know of any other tub places in the milpitas/fremont/north SJ area?

Watercourse Way in Palo Alto is one of the better places on that list.

I wouldn't confuse a hot tub joint with a day spa. Additionally I don't think there is a hot tub joint between Palo Alto and Daly City on the Peninsula. (at least one that is provider friendly)

Personally I don't get the hot tub idea when the client is asked to pay for the room.

The girls don't discount their rates when you pay for the room. So why pay the extra charges?

Most girls I know deduct it from their rates. I usually split it.

Yes you end up having to pay $20. a person so that would be $40 on top of her fee.

I've been to the tubs in Berkeley on University Ave. and Watercourse Way in Palo Alto, both of which are clean, well run and quite relaxing. They're especially inviting in the damp, cold weather that we've been having lately!

I'm often in Sac, where I have a number of young friends who I know would just love the experience. Trouble is, I haven't found a hot tub place in that region. Anyone know of one in or around Sac that you can recommend?

Just went to Zen in Oakland. Suprisingly clean, sterilized. The hot tub is filled by you when you get there, no nasty chlorine. .6 for the VIP rooms, .5 for the regular. The difference is the size of the bed, the regular room is roughly a twin size, a bit small. Odd, no toilets in the rooms.

Yeah I've been to Zen Springs in Oakland several times. Way cleaner than the Berkeley tubs, nice big shower, and a clean sheet on the "yoga mat"! But it's also pricier than Berkeley. The front room is the nicest, has large mirrors.

Better just go to incall. Tub is cheaper than a room.

I have been too Watercourse Way with both married girlfriends and
providers and have had a good time. If you pay for a discount card
you save 10% on the room rate. I usually leave between $50 and $100
on deposit that is tied with my hobby phone #. This way anytime I
want to hook up their with someone I can just call and reserve a
room. No need to provide a credit card or show I.D.

There is a place in Marin County out in Fairfax. Went there once. I was in a secluded outdoor hot tub room. Doors have funky latches instead of a lock. No "yoga mat" in that room. Not sure about the others. My girlfriend exprovider and I go to Berkeley, Van Ness, Daly City and Watercourse way. Berkeley and Van Ness will often have a storng chlorine smell that is hard to get off your skin. That is if you get in the tub. Strong odor of Chlorine in the room as well along with being warm and humid. Very clean and respected establishments. Just started doing the fill your own bath tubs (dbl jacuzzi style) at the Daly City one. Its $30 for both of us, three clean towels and two waters included. Watercourse way is our favorite but all the way in Palo Alto and spendy, but it is very nice. Some rooms have a single size yoga mat. I will have to check out the Zen one in Oakland. Cheers.

My only fear of the hot-tubs to be honest... good or bad, is the filming . I mean what if someone like uploads it to a youtube or something one day....

If you can 't have fun in life, whats it worth ??

Excellent, thank you!

If I actually muster up the courage to see a provider, I might do it this way.

San Lorenzo, Watercours Way, University in Berkeley all make you present ID. The only place I know of that doesn't is Sunshine Spa in Pleasanthill. Why not show your id? The most important reason is like the San Lorenzo one sheriffs units role by all day long and know who are the local talent. I know of one buddy who went to Watercourse Way because the gal said it was her favorite place. What he didn't know was and neither the gal, they keep tabs on how many times a customer uses the hottub especially if the gal goes more than once in one day.

And always pay cash with $20.00 dollar bills, never flash a cnote.

Don't forget the one on Van Ness Ave in San Francisco. 2200 Van Ness? Near Broadway. Add $20 per person.
