"Reference Advice"

So here's the thing... As a long-time lurker who has jumped into the community a few months ago, I've seen a few providers who don't require references, hoping to build a decent reputation so that providers requiring refs would consider. However, I'm finding that more often than not... providers that don't require refs aren't particularly reference friendly. I don't blame them because if they don't ask other girls for refs... why should they take the time to provide them as well.

I suppose this is more of a rant than a question... but any advice on finding a reference friendly provider who doesn't require refs herself?

I'll probably get flamed for saying this but try a provider that does require screening but offers methods other than provider reference - such as your name and place of work.

She'll call your work and ask for you then likely hang up on transfer.

There is some small risk in giving out your info so be careful exactly which provider you choose as a means to getting your foot in the door. Someone with a good long reputation and you'll be fine.

You might also email some of the providers who require refs, explain your situation and ask if she has an alternative plan.

Remember though, Ref's aren't only about avoiding LE. They are also about making sure you're safe and respectful in the bedroom, so some will be against alternatives. Just understand and expect that.

A review history can also help. It's not 100% but nothing is.

There's several things that I could suggest. First I'd avoid AAMPs or other agencies, since generally those girls are going to be higher volume and you aren't going to have direct access to the girls (email/phone number, etc).

You can see a few girls that are 'newbie friendly' that are good at giving references. I'd look for girls that are really good at communication, and I'd probably avoid CL girls for the purposes of getting references.

The last option would be to go with a screening company. I've had a membership with Preferred 411, which can get you access to some girls, who might be able to refer you to girls that aren't on P411.

Try calling those providers that screen "sometimes" or require only one reference. Explain your situation, giving her the "heads up" that those providers may not be reference friendly, and you understand if she can't make the appointment. In my experience, she may check or may not check based on how she feels about you during that phone conversation. If she doesn't make the appointment - move on to another one. Eventually, you might get one that can't start you on the reference path.

Another option is use another hobbyist that is well established and is ok with you using them as a reference.

Food for thought.

Thanks ... problem is I know even fewer hobbyists (zero) than I know providers... But I do appreciate the idea.

Some women advertise as "reference friendly" but don't require references themselves.
