"Creepy PLs."

Hope this is not offensive, but here goes.
First, I go into my regular AMP, regular lady comes in says Happy Valentines Day. I smile, but inside I'm going "fine, but why do you think I'm here?" But all went very well.
Now, on the way out I see this guy coming in. I usually avoid such, but this time I couldn't help it. I looked right at the guy from two feet away. And he was creepy. It was just the set of his face and the look on his face. Now I may be a lot of things, but imho I'm not creepy.
I can't imaginatively put myself in a woman's place, but If I could and I walked into a room and met that guy, I think I'd consider switching to cleaning toilets for a living.
So there's a self-selection process going on. They can hack it or they can't. They must be tough, and I think they deserve everything they are paid.
That's all.

I don't do AMPS, but what you're talking about is something about the process that all us hobbyist must deal with. I often find myself walking around, looking at the people show, let's say Walmart. and thinking, "Would she do that?". If she's in this biz, and she's good, then the answer is "yes".

And that is meaning, mostly, good on her!

RB is here for you to determine what you're looking for out there.

Use it!

And kudos to you, Artwolf, for appreciating that most ladies here are not just blow-up dolls that would do just about anything even a donkey. Hehe. Or is it most ladies or just some ladies. Who knows, right?

I've come to really appreciate what these ladies go through day in and day out here. And I've also come to appreciate *less* certain ladies that are jaded and ladies that are less discriminating around here that would have no problem doing the "creepy" ones. C'mon, let's be realistic. There are some creeps out there, and if the lady isn't able to discriminate against them, then I'm so sorry.

I was talking to one of my ATF's not too long ago and she was venting about some supposedly popular RB guy that gave her a bad review. She tells me who it is, and I can't help but grin. She says she was such a "creepy" guy and she really couldn't get into the session. I told her I've heard he's already on a lot of providers' DNS list anyway, and don't worry about the review -- that a bad review from him should be worth gold. Yeah... the things these ladies have to go through, right?

You know, I'm not trying to hijack the thread, but I feel the need to play devil's advocate. In getting screened to see one of the top rated ladies on RB, I recently learned that my handle is known for being hard on ladies in my reviews. The provider in question had read a thread that stated that I've never given a positive review and she didn't bother to check my reviews for herself. When she asked me why I have so many negative experiences, I countered by tallying the number of positive reports in my review history. When she did read my reviews, she stated that the instigating provider must have had an ax to grind, as I clearly didn't withhold positive reviews, as suggested. I found the whole thing rather humorous.

Maybe the hobbyist in your example really was a creeper. I've heard stories of uncomfortable types visiting ladies who I consider very easy going and I have no doubt that many are absolutely accurate. That said, also realize that saying that a client was creepy is a very easy way of dismissing any responsibility on her part. Three sides to every story: yours, mine, and the truth.

All that aside, yes. These ladies deserve a lot of respect for being able to withhold their true thoughts and feeling from clients so effectively. I recently asked an RA which of the three locations where she's worked was best and she told me that the majority of gents in one of the three are very rude and demanding. It was a disappointment to hear that negative behavior was so common.

Edit: /off soapbox

It was NOT you, Some_guy. Maybe I should've added a sentence to that paragraph that says something like, "I've also heard about how creepy this guy is several other times from other ladies and even some of the men, so I fully understand why she would say that".

Further to most of these ladies' credit, they don't just freely share such information just to anyone and just to gossip. Not until they become more comfortable with you, establish a trust relationship, and as you see them more regularly might they vent out such things. From our standpoint (the men), it's nice to know such information, too. Why? Because you don't want to befriend "creepers" around here. Almost half the time, references are also exchanged between the men around here. One wouldn't want to make the mistake of referring a "creep" to one of their ATF's, correct?

Of course I realize it's just one woman's opinion/experience, but I am curious as to how she broke down and presented this "work areas vs. general behavior" thing for you.

Can you give it to us in a nutshell?

In my life experience, I've encountered seemingly creepy folks, who turned out to be nice people. I've encountered the other kind as well.

One just cannot judge a person by their look. That person would have probably preferred to be born handsome and nice looking, but mother nature dealt each one of us a different hand.

Lefeu, of course you're right, and I thought of that. Appearance and reality are not always the same, a matter which is the subject of much great literature. Still, though I could be wrong in this case, the general point still holds, as attested by the fact that others here get what I was driving at.

I don't mean to be the thought police or overly PC.

"...genetically wired to be whores..."? WTF? There are all sorts of reasons they enter into the profession. I dispute this genetically-wired BS; females are wired to bear children from the alpha male, but this signal has been long-obfuscated by cultural and societal influences. Now, bearing children has no significant relation to being "whores".

If there's any genetic wiring in this direction, it's males who are wired to spread our seed.

"Whores", while a dictionary term, is not the nicest. But again, I am not trying to be overly PC and will therefore leave sharper arrows on this to others, should they choose.

Sometimes I wonder how they do it??????????????????

Maybe a "slding scale" as to fees would be appropriate;

xxx amount for gentlemen
xxx amount for doable
xxx amount for ""creepy"" and below

and I'm thinking there isn't enough $$ for "some"!

There is a very high % of guys on this board that are 'creepy' Stalkers, PLs, nut jobs, big fucker losers, criminals, you name it, their out there.

Yep being a whore isn't easy and many many times dangerous.

If they could pull a 9-5 they would be, but they can't. So the're fucking for $.

So with that being said, be a gentleman whenever you can.

A Creepy dudes money is just as green as my money. And a provider is a professional, she (the majority of the time) can exercise her discretion and say yea or nay to a meeting.

On the flip side, I've seen a few spectacular looking women only to find out later they were screwed up in the head.

It's a two way street here.
