Often a newbie has a misconception about the purpose of mixers, thus board members unsure of the newbie's motivation are reticent to discuss them.

It seems incredible that someone would not take the time to become known as a positive contributor to the community, before asking to be included in community social activities. It should be emphasized that there is security that ensures no illegal activities occur at these events

You will need to go through a screening process, which may vary according to who is organizing a particular mixer. Screening is done not so acts of prostitution can occur, but to avoid people who are anti the hobby. We attend to have a good time and don’t need to be confronted with negative agendas.

It’s nice to put a face to the handles you have come to know on the discussion boards at RB and to meet people you might have an interest in getting to know better. If your only reason for attending is to immediately get laid, you should keep your ass at home or go somewhere else.

   It was really just a simple question- no need to rake me over the coals- I obviously don't know what I'm doing- I just found this message board and I don't even look on this site all that much. I'm not a cop or stupid. This is the first post I've written because it's the first thing I've been interested in hearing about from anyone and was obviously a mistake at that. Thanks for the warm welcome- can't wait for the next time. If you don't want to answer a question, then don't.

   Post #7 with the link gives most of the helpful information.

At risk of being possibly repetitive, people who are invited to mixers are "generally" those who have been around on the board for some time and known. What that means, generally, is that if you have seen several girls, write reviews, and to a lesser extent, post in various forums with helpful information, chances are someone will invite you.

The goal is obviously not to invite LE, Pimps, or people who are just basic shit disturbers that post drivel, flames, and haven't seen a Hooker in YEARS.

None of this is hard and fast or concise rules but gives you an idea. It should be noted that NONE of the various mixers you may read about are sponsored or affiliated in ANY way with SFREDBOOK. Mixers are completely run and organized by various individuals.
