Did it go over well? Get information? Did you first discover this board and then go on a massive posting spree or kick back and watch a bit while posting once in a while?

My very first post on the main board at the time was an inquiry (a 411 type of post) about a Hooker. Past information was far to "glorified" to be believed but I asked anyway and I ended up having one of the most dreadful experiences.

Anyhow, curious to hear what your first post as a newb was and the reaction.

Crap, that was back before forums, user handles or moderators. Learned about this place from a email list group specializing in SFBA hookers. It eventually folded so started coming here for hooker info. Damned if I remember what the hell my first post was about though. Was more a lurker than poster for months. This place was pretty entertaining.

I remember when it seemed that 20% of the posts were "I know that XYZ poster is really ABC who's a provider, and here's why (where they'd go into a study of vernacular and verb usage)".

And a couple of female porn ladies used to share a lot too.

I recall my first interaction on the board was circa 1999 and was some back-and-forth with a lady the veterans are sure to remember - Famous Amy. I don't remember the topic, only that it was a flirtatious dialogue that Amy had initiated. Soon after that post, I set up my first of many meetings with Amy.

Amy was a delightful woman and, during that era, considered one of the Bay Area's finest companions. I still miss her - she always showed great insight in to the topics.
She used to sign all her posts with 'Peace'.

I saw many posts putting down mature providers on board, then I thought .. perhaps mature provider should have chance to post their photo when they were in their prime... which was not a smart idea.

As a result I was beaten senseless, Stephanie posted a movie star beautiful photobooth image of her in her 20s... sadly its gone.

I do remember my first session with a Provider due to a review,Tammy was in SF around Market St.I remember her as a biker chick with tatoos,but she turned me every which way but loose just like the review said she would,I was hooked on the RB reviews ever since.

I have curtailed my mongering significantly in the past 3 or so years so my input is down as well.This is a great thread as it brings back fond memories of a much smaller community back in the 90's.

I actually had a bit to do with helping her get out of the biz when she wanted to. No good deed goes unpunished That ended up losing me the best sex in the known universe. But I still feel good about it.
