WELCOME TO RB jmooreS4Try to think through your approach and interest in the hobby. Are you just looking to bust a nut with a hot chick by getting in, getting off, and getting out. Or do you want a romantic fantasy with a lady who will be your girlfriend for an hour. Neither of these are right or wrong, just different. The experience you are looking for guides you in what to look for when search ads and reviews. At some point you will want to seriously consider getting VIP membership.
Think about what level of confidentiality and security you feel you need. A married guy typically has a need for a higher level than a single guy. This can determine if you need a hobby phone or if you can do outcalls.
For starters you don’t need to disable your profile. You have an anonymous handle so putting in the City or area you live or a city you will be doing most of your hobbying could help if you ask a question that a potential responder could give better information if they knew the area of your hobby interest.
It looks like you were able to keep both your review handle and your message board handle as jmooreS4. Not something I was able to do when I came on to the message board. I had to plead my case to administration to get the HighStepper handle on the message board. I use to just cruise the ads and read the reviews, especially after I wrote and posted a review, I could see the full detail reviews. Then one day I discovered, wow, they got a discussion board on RB. The problem came when the mods researched my request they thought I was some weirdo trying to hijack the HighStepper handle. Finally somebody I met at a mixer explained to the mods that I was weird and HighStepper is weird, so they put it together for me.
The point of this longwinded shit, is there are two schools of thought about making your review handle different from your discussion board handle.
Back in the days before internet review sites it was rough out there. Answering a newspaper ad a hobbyist didn’t know what to expect. A lot of ROBs and fakes. So in the beginning the reviewers had to come down hard on some providers for the safety of bros which required a bros before hos posture. Understand why the suggestion to keep the handles separate?
Today we are a much stronger community blessed with a lot of wonderful ladies who are true treasures that make living worth living. Instead of bros against hos we can strive to become brothers and sisters in the hobby together making it better for all. A lot of work yet to do on this, but we can focus on the well established sweetheart providers, that with due diligence in their research a hobbyist never has to come in contact with the shit that the pioneering hobbyist had to contend with, along with whatever harm might come to him. Some of these guys are still around and they may show their figurative battle scars in the tone of their posts.
To sum up, the school of thought to keep the same handle for both reviews and message board appears to be the prevailing dominant one, just an opinion, Some people act embarrassed when owning up to having two different handles. It’s not like it’s wrong, but gives the impression of hiding something or being two face. They have no need to as it’s their choice and nothing wrong with having the two handles, not to be confused with fake handles… ..later.
We also touch on 2 ways to get at reviews and mixers. Current thread in this forum:

The number one rule in the hobby is DISCRETION!!!
Hopefully you got a flavor of what kind of experience you can shape here. BTW, the guys telling you to get out before you get in and save your self are touching on potential pitfalls of hobbying which can be said about anything in life. So keep the big head engaged until you are in the bedroom with the door locked. The danger that will sneak up on you was expressed with a simple GET OUT NOW, with a book of experience and knowledge behind it, came from a “Posting Whore” a sort of play on “Attention Whore.” lol. Posting whores are the people with high post counts. Like if one has over 500 posts, you got to ask yourself WHY? And people with over a 1,000.……….well hang around you’ll see.
In addition to the very useful link Lefeu gave you here are two more.
