"Upside down photos"
 
   What are your thoughts on ad photos that have the provider posed upside down? I personally would not prefer this type of photo because I have no way to turn the pix right side up so I have to "stand on my head" to get a good look!

Now there are other items like scanned into printer upside down but let's not consider that in this thread. For those posed at an awkward viewing position . . .

Our goal in looking at a photo:
Determine the provider looks so we can figure out if we'd like to schedule a session.

Her goal in posing for a photo:
-Hide anything that will keep a guy from scheduling a session (which may include distortion, photoshop, professional photos, differing angles & perspectives)
-Be sexy (whatever that image is in her *romantic* perspective)
-Artistic License
-In some cases, the provider may think the pose is what guys 'want'.

The photographers goal:
-Please client and get paid.
-Some poses may be *perhaps* a sexual fetish or desire of the person behind the lens. (not to the benefit of client or provider)

Regardless of intent or goal, separate agendas can lead to separate results.

That said, the upside down boudoir photo is somewhat silly from a practical perspective.

But you have other options . . .
-Don't open a photo that is not easily viewed from the thumbnail.
-Right click on the photo, select 'edit' and rotate photo clockwise or counter clockwise as required. (note to rx-this should be standard in both windows and similar in MacOS)

I'd prefer that providers used photos that are current and accurate.

   its to hide or lessen the eye time on her fat rolls or notice how chunky she is. The head is closer to you in the photo so you tend to look at that first.

   Most of the time that I spend with an RA she is usually ass up

in the air and facing away so the upside down poses our O.K.

with me as long as their recent and with minimal photo shop.

   My experience has been that upside down photos are taken to distract the viewer and distort the image. The best and most accurate pics are usually candid ones, imo.

It's been a trend in upper end high school photography for over 3 years and has been used in the advertising and fashion industry for more that that. It's really just to show off really good legs even more. Lately it's gotten very gimmicky and I think it's over done. And yes I agree with you as per you have to turn your head to see what the person looks like. You can get a similar look shooting the same pose if you shoot the woman from the side instead of shooting from the head and have her turn her head toward the camera.

Not to change the subject, but what about these rear spread shots, I am as horny as the next guy, but some of these are kind of gross, and a turn off rather than a turn on.

I couldn't agree more. Some of those butts are pretty gross. Do they really think we are going to make a decision based on a picture of an ass or that their butt shots are attractive? Then in the same breath the words "classy and sophisticated" are mentioned. HELLO
