   I'm in agreement with you. I haven't bothered buying or renting such things. Heck it is a more utilitarian option to simply view a short for free for the relatively short time you will require the product. On days I'm not out and about with a woman, it becomes more the utilitarian task to sate a need. Sort of like I'm hungry for pasta at dinner - I eat the pasta and I'm happy; get to move on to more important things. Frees the mind to pursue other tasks and interests. Sex is just a need like thirst or hunger; sate that need and you move on to more important things.

   I'll second that -- torrents are awesome... if you don't have time to wait, then of course the sites that many have listed (eg, youporn); for a change of pace, going online and checking out people's webcams (yahoo, camfrog) maybe time consuming, but the fact that its live can make it exciting...

www.aebn.net I like the search options and that you can skip from scene to scene. It's not too hard to hook up a bedroom tv to your computer and have a show during a session.

I used to pay for porn at porn shops. $30-50 a title. Then there was the Net.

I bought it online. $5 for a 3 day trial period, download like crazy, then cancel.

Then there was P2P... torrent... free, but time consuming.

Now, I just go to the flash sites.

Youporn, redtube, porn eskimo.... but thoses sites seem to be increasingly hooks for pay stuff (short clips to entice you to get "full version", or to bait you into endless link farms).

Seems to be new flash sites popping up all the time. Here's one I currently like:
