"Anyone use AshleyMadison ?"
 
   I have tried this service out for 8 weeks and I find it a waste of time. I dished out $150.00 for Credits with hopes of meeting a like minded married woman but no luck. It must be my wonderful looks, or perhaps there are not that many married women on the hunt for folks like me.

I do sometimes get "winks" but they always seem to cost me to contact them.. Is this site fixed ? Anyone using this service and are happy ?

Is one of the most successful ripoff sites out. They are laughing all the way to the bank as well as other people are making money requiring you to join their board or site. In other works you are being lead on and paying for it.

Stick to redbook read the reviews and pay for your fantasy.

   I tried this site with the expectation that it might contain SBs looking for a SD. I sent polite messages, gifts, etc. Zip response, nix, nada, no luck whatsoever...

IMHO it's absolutely useless.

Actually, I once knew a woman (long distance acquaintance - long story) who used AshleyMadison to hook up with a guy for an affair. Long story short, she dumped him after a couple of weeks.

That's almost certainly a rare instance of a "real deal" on sites like this.

Seriously if you're wanting to hook up and score with women there are two obvious choices.

1 - Tune up your looks, hone your flirting and seductive skills, and hit the bars, bowling alleys, whatever... has the illusive attraction of possibly being cheaper, more regular, but it's also probably a LOT more complicated.

2 - Bulk up your piggy bank and score with the escorts - has the attraction of being uncomplicated, plus - IMHO - pros are *Better In Bed*!!!! ('n ya can do shit like doubles....)

I heard about this website a while back on some morning radio show. After listening to the guy's spiel, it really seemed like a dumb idea to me. What better way to get caught? If your wife thinks you're cheating, all she'd have to do is go searching on Ashley Madison and she'd have a smoking gun. It wouldn't even matter if you were successful or not. If she found your ad, she could prove intent. On the other hand, she might be incriminating herself in the process. In any case, nothing good is likely to come of it, and your wallet is likely to be thinner after the disappointing experience....

   I went out last night with some young guys I work with, all of us single except one, and the one single guy who was 24 years old, was getting hit on hard-core by this older woman in her maybe early 50's.

She was relentless. After he said he had a girlfriend, she asked him if he ever cheats on her, or would like do (the answer was no to both). We had to leave to ditch her.

It was insane. Watching her drool over this dude completely shamelessly and go for the full-court-press hard-sell, was like watching myself drooling over and pawing girls when I was like 18 or 20.

Of course, none of the single guys got any where with the ladies, and only the taken guy got hit on. Irony is not dead.

   Yah, total waste of money. No doubt the founders are also brilliant marketeers and went straight to the bank with AM. Have read that there are also a number of plants on the site that engage with you so you spend credits but it never goes anywhere. Better off taking that $200 and getting some action from RB, at least you know you'll get something for sure...

Have heard good things about Plenty of Fish from friends that use it...

I tried out PoF for awhile and found it to be pretty bad as well. The basic service is free at least, but it is full of annoying and deceptive ads that look like part of the web site, but if you're not careful you click on one and find yourself on another site. Also, every week you get an email with your UserID AND PASSWORD sent to you, and you cannot turn off these emails without deleting your account (which I did). Try explaining why you're on this site to a nosey SO who happens to read your email over your shoulder.

But also I found that 95% of the women on the board are looking for relationships, not a quick hookup. I think I'd have better odds on CL, and that's not saying much.

I have a bullshit email account that I give out to assholes that I know are going to spam me. I almost never check it and when I do it's just gang deletions. Cuts down on the spam though.

   I signed up for Ashley Madison, but have never paid for credits, etc. Every once in a while I get an email or wink from some attractive girl. The girl could even be 300 miles away. The fact that they email/wink at me without me having any profile of substance, let's me know that it's a computer generated method by which they hope to get members (credits sold).

I found the only use for the ashley madison site is if your printer can take toilet paper instead of regular paper, you can print out some of their stuff and wipe your a$$ with it. Other than that, can't find anything useful except to waste money on.

   Not that we need more confirmation but I signed up for AM as well and got nowhere. I had the same experience as a previous poster of getting alleged messages from people who lived in Newport Beach or even further away. My criteria was for 50 miles from my zip code. Bullshit site but I wish I thought of it. The guy must be making bank. He donated $100,000 to the winner of the Tiger Woods Mistress Beauty Pageant that was on the Howard Stern show a few weeks ago.

If you want to play with women who are for the most part "no strings" stick with the websites that cater to escorts. If you want to mess around with married folk (and the potential for homicidal hubbies associated with that risk) do it the old fashioned way.    Just as an addendum to my early post re AM.

The site continues to be, IMHO, absolutely worthless.

However, I just had a hit on SD4M that was amazing! I feel like the guy who is sitting in the fighting chair of his fishing boat and watches an 800lb marlin he has just hooked leap out of the water. She took my breath away. The good news is she was a lot easier to bring in than a huge fighting fish

I suppose in life you pay for what you get and you get what you pay for. AM sells us the (complete) illusion that exceptional women can be had on the cheap. How wrong! And Quality is always worth paying for (whether directly or indirectly). My reaction is now: don't waste your money by following an illusion. Be prepared to provide a quid pro quo with a smile and enjoy the benefits.

P.S. Anybody want to buy some unused AM credits on the cheap?
