"Staying off the radar -- SIM card question"

Let's say I wanted to buy a prepaid SIM card to use as my "Hobby Phone" in a totally untraceable way, like CASH only.

Most cards I can find require some kind of regular usage (i.e. only good for 60 days without buying more time) or an initiation fee etc.

Is there a retailer out there that offers single-shot SIM cards, that you purchase over the counter, that are good for, say, $100 and don't have to be used by a certain time (I only hobby infrequently) and then you chuck 'em and move on? Am I being obtuse here? I thought this is the way everybody did this, but I can't find a card like this anywhere....What am I missing?

Thanks in advance

I have a $5 Tracphone. To get minutes I used the name and address of a dead person and faked an email address. LE could still track you down (with a court order) but pimps and SO will never be able to trace the phone to you.

if you used a fake name and address, how would they track you down?
