"Tips on emailing providers!?!?"

LAST EDITED ON 13-Apr-10 AT 11:36 AM (PST)

Good Day my fellow RB Brethrens!

I've been on and off with hobbying and I'm just now starting to get back into the swing of things. I have 2 or 3 providers that I've seen on a regular basis, but I am now looking to expand my horizons.

I'm in the office 12 hours a day and I find it hard to find time to engage in a phone conversation with a provider to set up a appointment.

I'm on my work e-mail and Blackberry 24/7. My job requires me to always be connected.

Any tips on emailing a provider to set up a appointment? I'm not the best writer. I'm a great talker, but I barely have time to break away from the office and I personally prefer setting up my appointments ahead of time.

Any do's and dont's?

What to say and what not to say?

I usually book a nice hotel in SF when I want to relax.

Any help or insight I would greatly appreciate it!

*Feel free to inbox me.

Thanks!

Seth

Setting up an appt. shouldn't be much different than by phone.

Mention where you saw her Ad, ask for availability on a specific day and time, and not a whole heck of a lot more. This in NOT some blind date with a civilian you are setting up.

Keep it short and include all the information or relevant and pertinent questions the first time you contact her. You shouldn't have to to reply more than once to set this all up.

On a sidenote, I truly cringe when I hear of people who email back and forth, back and forth, back and forth over the course of "days" to set up something so simple that a phone call can me made and done with in 5 minutes. Some dudes just want the attention and are lonely I suppose (not meaning you specifically) and waste buckets of time with the Hookers.

   1) Do NOT use company email server. Unless you want to get an ominus summons from HR.

2) Send emails to providers who prefer that method of communication. Providers who mainly communicate by phone often do not read emails or listen to vmail.

3) Use an anonymous email address. Something that can be traced back to you. Especially by work or SO.

4) Only put essential contact info in initial email. If give phone number, it should be a hobby phone which is regularly purged. Give out contact name (pick a name), email address, intro, who, where (nothing specific yet), when.

5) If they want more info about you, only give info you are comfortable with. I wouldn't give work name or phone number. If that is not acceptable for them, next.

Good luck.

Strongly agree with all of your points. Take the extra steps to separate this from your work and personal life, and you'll have that much less to worry about down the road.

As for e-mails, you don't really have to do anything special that you wouldn't do in a regular work e-mail:

1. Be polite. Introduce yourself (name, contact info, how you found her), mind your manners.
2. Be concise and thorough. State time/place you're interested in, any special requests (outfits, etc), and if necessary reference info (with their name, links to their ad and their phone number).
3. Don't waste their time with needless back and forth which may come off as just wanting attention.

Hope burns bright!

Providers don't answer my emails. I have never had a problem when I called a provider. Even if I have to leave a message, they usually call me back right away. However, whenever I have emailed one or inboxed one I do not get a response. I just emailed a provider a couple of days ago (she has no phone number listed) and I gave her my cell phone number and I said to call or text anytime or simply reply to my email, but I never heard from her. Her ad is still being posted. I am an easy to please client that is not very demanding, but if it's email, I say skip it. It's a waste of time.

Yes. Specifically, don't mention money or specific sex acts. This is what her ads and her reviews are for.

I probably get the same amount of response via email as I do by calling or inboxing lately. If I get no response then the lady is either too busy or not available. Which ever way I to choose to contact a lady, the mere fact that I do means I'm pretty much ready to see her. A timely response is all it takes for it to happen. Some of my best sessions were set up via email.

I made an appointmentthis past week completely via E-mail. The only phone contact was the hour before meeting time to find out where.

I did provide a bit of information to assure her I was safe from her perspective. I realize I was taking a risk in giving up too much information, but the reviews suggested to me that she was discrete provider.

I would think that a provider would like to hear someone's voice to size them up however.

   Ernie,

Thanks for the info.

Would you care to share the provider's info that you corresponded with via email? I'm still not having much luck with obtaining a response.

Thanks,

Seth

Not really since I don't know you and your post count is fairly low. She only works in the East Bay and does have a classified up. Search Dublin or Pleasanton.

Usually, unless a provider states in her ad that she is good with emails, calling or texting is the better option. Many of the providers get so many useless emails (pimps or people messing around not really trying to book) they just stop reading emails altogether. Some of the more patient ones will tell you to put certain keywords in the subject for them to filter out.
