"Same-day appointments, 'available' vs. 'only'"

I actually like to plan ahead, three days at least. I've noticed that some ladies advertise same-day appointments as a special accommodation. Meanwhile, I've noticed that a few AAMP ladies advertise "same-day appointments ONLY". Please help me to understand the variation in approaches to scheduling.

Here's what I'm thinking: if a lady thinks that same-day appointments are a favor to the gentleman, it's because she actually DOES plan ahead.

And my first reaction to seeing that someone will only schedule on short notice is that she, or her agency, does a lousy job of scheduling. They want to keep their list of visitors small enough at any time that they can keep it all in their head. But my first reaction might be wrong -- because two of the "same day only" ladies I have examined further have almost no reports of flaking, rushed appointments, etc.

If you want to have the first appointment of the day at an AAMP, and they start at 9:00 AM, how can you possibly hope to make that work without calling the day before?

It's a mystery. I haven't seen Kitty since she started with Sunquest since they do that 'same day only' stuff.

Most AAMPs take same-day appointments only. Meaning, no pre-booking (booking 1 or more days in advance). Some will allow pre-booking anyway but everytime I've tried, the PO will say "Sorry, no pre-booking, call back tomorrow".

That means you have to find out when they start taking calls (usually 9am or 10am) and start calling when they open. First come-first serve. Sucks if you have a special scheduling need. Like have to have the first appointment. Maybe if you know the PO or org, they will let you pre-book. I usually hobby on my "off" day so any available time is fine with me. Then I plan dinner around it. Some of the really popular RAs will be completely booked for the day within the first half hour.

Some guys say they call the day before so they can schedule an early morning appointment or some other special time. Or schedule multiple appointments. They may be scheduling through the RA (and she tells the PO) or they have some arrangement with the org. I don't like it though because it makes it tougher for me to get an appointment if several guys are doing that.

I sort of like same-day appointments only. Kind of evens out the playing field. Everyone has a chance to get an appointment. If everyone is pre-booking, have to plan ahead (which I don't do) and schedule. The popular RAs may be all booked up for several days or weeks. Specially if guys are booking multiple appointments. There are several RAs I would like to schedule every week (at the same time). If that were possible, there would be some RAs that would be booked up their entire "stint". Not really fair though. So same-day appointment only policy is like a lottery. Everyone has an equal chance of getting an appointment.

Escorts are different because they do that screening thing, check references and plan their day.

I must have gotten lucky.

I'm new here, and I've only seen one provider. She's Asian, but she scheduled several days ahead with me, both times. I saw her when she was pretty new, but she's accumulating some good reviews. I don't think she's sitting around waiting for the phone to ring.

I'm pretty sure that she's not fully independent, the apartment where I met her is almost certainly not hers. One thing that made me decide to try her was that her phone number was NOT shared between herself and other ladies. She answers her own phone and email.

The same day only thing can be a bit of a hassle. There are AAMP providers I've not been able to see because I haven't been able to get through on multiple occasions. For example I've probably tried Ocean's PO, starting at 9am, five or six separate days now to no avail. By 9:30 I start worrying I won't get through and start calling other #s.

I have had luck pre-booking a same day only provider for repeat visits now that the PO knows me... and I'm very much appreciative of this. It may put out other hobbyists, but it's win/win for the org and I. Org can count on me not being a flake and the repeat business (even though the girl doesn't struggle for business). I get to count on seeing her when I want for as long as I want... Keeps me happy, keeps me coming back.

If orgs that usually say "same day appointments only" are allowing pre-booking, that's not really fair for everyone else. If they allow it, they should say so. Then I'll pick a day I'd like and schedule a week in advance. Otherwise, pre-booking is like jumping ahead of the line. Not cool.

SDAO is like a lottery. First call-first serve. It may be a hassle trying to book really popular RAs but at least it is fair.

I get it. I respect your courtesy. You are a better man than I.

(Obviously) I can't hold it against other hobbyists who have put in the time and especially the $$ to build a "relationship" with the org. Even though this may be why I can't book some RAs.

100 posts. You're the first to get some pts from me (once I can access rb from a computer). You've been very helpful. Thanks

The reason I was told that lady's do same day apointments only is because too many guys would set apointments for the next morning or day and not show up. Making the provider loose time and money. also same day apointments are for people that they have not met yet. They usually will set next day apointments with regulars.

many org's are just not organized enough to do next day appointments. Not to mention the no-show rate would probably be too high...

Most of the girls I see can't manage their lives four hours ahead let alone days ahead.

My schedule is too dynamic to even try to book a day ahead. Same days have always been the way to go.

Whenever possible I pre book as much as a week in advance, average

would be 2 or 3 days. I like knowing I am going too see who I want

when I want. And I enjoy the anticipation.

You have too be very reliable and not cancel appointment's without

giving at least a 24 hour notice, and be prepared too pay full price

for your missed appointment if asked or this option will no longer

be extended.

Sometimes I get a hard on and can't wait 'til the next day. Yessiree.

Those "same day" appointment places can't accommodate that. But a provider who is available right away is just what I need. Yessiree.

Of course, I plan ahead from time to time. But again, sometimes my little head gets ahead of my big head.

You can't. I like early as in 8:30am. At about half the places I call I am SOL.

My work could be described as on call so same day sessions are the norm for me. I do book in advance when I know it for sure but that is very rare.
