"Good Reviews include..."

It seems that a lot of guys mark my reviews as not very useful. I wonder why. When I look at a review this is the info that I care about.

1) Are the pictures accurate?
2) Was the provider where she was suppose to be at the appointed time
3) Was she squeaky clean?
4) Was she friendly and had a good attitude?
5) What was the price?
6) What's on the menu?
7) Is the menu served well?
8) What was the location like - a run down dump or a nice motel room?

The rating numbers are meaningless. I rate high with the numbers because I am usually satisfied. I think the most likely reason that I get marked that the review was not helpful is that I only order a cheeseburger off the menu and the guys want to know if steak was available and what it was like. However, I still have answered seven and a half out of eight of the the questions, so I think that would qualify as a helpful review.

I have one rule when I mark reviews. If it's obvioulsy or probably fake, I mark it as not useful. If the reviewer is clearly someone real, someone who has a body of reviews, then I mark it useful.

However, I can see how if you have all 9's and 10's someone might not find it useful. There are very few 9's & 10's out there looks-wise. And service wise, while you may leave them all satisfied, there can be a big difference in attitude and skill on how they get you to that end result.

So personally, if I see a reviewer gives everyone 9's & 10's, while I don't mark the review as not useful, I do mentally discard it when doing my due dilligence on a provider. I don't feel the review knows how to be objective.

Other than that...It seems like you are doing all the right things and hitting most of the high points that people need to know. Perhaps you should go to an unattractive provider with crappy reviews so you can chime in and your body of work will look more legitimate.

"The rating numbers are meaningless. I rate high with the numbers because I am usually satisfied."

The first part of your statement is patently false. The ratings numbers come with analogous phrasing as in 10: Super Model or I Was Dreaming, 5: average, or 1: Downright Ugly or A Nightmare. Those are meanings. But your ratings system presumably works like this:

10: Satisfied
9.5: Satisfied
9: Satisfied
8.5: Unsatisfied
8: Unsatisfied
7.5: Unsatisfied
7: Unsatisfied
6.5: Unsatisfied
6: Unsatisfied
5.5: Unsatisfied
5: Unsatisfied
4.5: Unsatisfied
4: Unsatisfied
3.5: Unsatisfied
3: Unsatisfied
2.5: Unsatisfied
2: Unsatisfied
1.5: Unsatisfied
1: Unsatisfied
0: Unsatisfied

Can you see how that might be deemed unhelpful? Look, I've read your reviews, they're concise, generic, and effusive, but by no means are they among the worst and most schilly reviews here on RB. But when I'm considering a provider and I read her reviews, the first thing I do is look at the reviewer's history. If I find a reviewer like you that only hands out 9's and 10's, I, like xpertrod, dismiss your review and move onto the next. Your eye is so uncritical, so un-nuanced that your reviews give me little if any relevant information. Your checklist mentioned above is objective information easily generated by any reviewer. I want a subjective review from someone who at least has a historical range of opinion that I can contrast to my own.

Ok, I can see your point, but here's my point. I went to see a provider this morning.

http://classifieds.myredbook.com/classified.php?adid=137471

I first looked at her pictures and really liked what I saw. I then read her reviews, and everyone said she looks just like her pictures. I arrive and she looks just like her pictures. She is dressed nicely, has on makeup, she has beautiful hair with streaks in it, she has a pretty face, she has nice tits, and a nice ass. She is short and petite, just the way I like them and exactly as described in her ad. I would argue that there is not a dime's worth of difference between spending an hour with her and spending an hour with a supermodel, and I'm an older guy so she is better than my dreams. If I reviewed her, I would have to give her a 10. If her pictures didn't trip my trigger in the first place or her reviews said the pictures were fake, I would not have gone.

Secondly, she did everything I asked her to and she was nice about it. I didn't sample her entire menu, just what I wanted (cheeseburger vs steak). I don't know how she could have improved on the service for me, so it would have to be a 10 as well.

If I wrote this review, it would be marked as not helpful because I did not comment on service that I did not want or because I gave too many 10's. However, my point is that there would still be a lot of helpful info in the review:

1) She looks just like her pictures. You should look at them and decide if this trips your trigger. Don't look at my number rating. That only tells you that she tripped my trigger.
2) She was there when I arrived at her motel. She did not flake.
3) She was squeaky clean, had a shower, nice clothes and makeup.
4) She was friendly and had a good attitude and provided the service requested.
5) She did not have a pimp or rob me.
6) She was staying at a nice motel not a rundown dump. It was in a safe neighborhood.

I could go on. My original point is that guys mark reviews and say that don't have any helpful information. One review is one piece of the puzzle - one person's opinion, one person's experience. You put them all together and then you have useful information. I think when they mark that there is no helpful information, they mean it is not the complete puzzle.

If you look at my reviews, it has been awhile since I left one. The main reason is that they would all be a 9 or 10 on looks and a 9 or 10 on service, and to many people think that this is not helpful info - so if it is not helpful why bother adding my piece to the puzzle.

You are doing fine. No one can tell you what your experience was as it was YOUR experience. It's not like you're the only person doing a review.
The body of reviews on a provider, taken as a whole can give guidance as to whether the reader wishes to see her.

This subject repeatedly comes up for debate and getting everyone to follow some scientific based method on the subjective is like trying to heard cats.

Experienced review readers have a number of ways to glean the information they are looking for. Not always, but sometimes those who give consistently
high numbers, know how to research and choose who they are likely to have the experience they are looking for.

My standard response on this topic is as follows:

A review is the subjective reporting of a hobbyist’s experience with a provider.

The skill and attitude of the provider as well as the skill and attitude of the hobbyist will shape the experience.

A lot of hobbyist consider a provider’s skills on the basis on what she does with her mouth and tongue during a blow job, the way she thrusts her pelvis during intercourse, and the way she touches, caresses, and fingers his balls. Hobbyist vary in how they like it, different stokes for different folks, so much depends on how intuitive she is to apply her skills in the way that will most please her man. (in the context of a GFE session you are her man during that hour) and how capable the hobbyist is in communicating, mostly non verbally, his desires to his woman. (in the context of a GFE session she is your woman during that hour)

Some hobbyist like to keep it simple, they just want to bust a nut in the mouth or the pussy of a hot babe. A reasonably pleasant demeanor and a drama free environment is all that is needed.

There is no wrong or right approach to the hobby, just different depending on the needs and interest of the participant. However, the hobbyist who has a low opinion of women that “sell their bodies” or thinks that since he is paying her he need not respect her, or take her feelings into account, is not likely to get as good of a session as the hobbyist that has the skill and attitude to make a woman feel safe, comfortable and appreciated.

So key things I look for in reviews:

1. She is not LE or a ROB or a dangerous person.
2. What is on the menu, i.e., DFK, BBBJ, DATY
3. Attitude, does she like providing, is her approach mechanical or passionate.
4. Any comments on pics being accurate or not.

Scores are even more subjective and I tend to see 10, 9, 8, as being almost the same score. I'm more interested in the narrative.

BTW, I think a lot of hobbyist will write more detail in a TOFTT first review than on a provider who has 2 or more pages of reviews where a quick confirmation of previous review findings or pointing out differences may be all that is needed.

I don't see the issue yet. You only have 1 particular review that has 2 people who voted it wasn't helpful and 2 others did find it helpful. If someone has a dozen guys voting not helpful then it might be time to figure out what you could do better.

Write whatever you personally would find helpful. This isn't a popularity contest like some of the user ratings seem to be. Who knows, maybe those 2 people just voted "not helpful" because of some dumb argument you had on the message board or some other nonsense. Could also be that an earlier Hooker you reviewed is pissed that you gave someone else a "10" and voted that it wasn't helpful, etc. etc.....

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

If one mainly sees girls who have really good reviews, then it's likely that one's reviews will be relly good as well. Hence one's body of reviews will all have pretty high scores...

B4 I found RB I had enough bad experiences that now I primarily only see girls with good reviews. I've only had one TOFT that I did post a review on, and even that was a fairly mixed experience. Though not horrible.

Hence the average 'points' I've given must be pretty high, as I have primarily seen provides that want to provide a positive, memorable experience... and that is reflected in my reviews.
