"What do you do..."

I am new to this but...

I saw a provider when she was offering a special. I wasn't shopping the rate, it was how the timing fell. She says clients are "grandfathered" in at her old rates. Do I bring her currently advertised rate or the last rate I saw her at?

I never really discuss money on the phone with a girl. I just read her post and bring what's there. I don't negotiate.

Any thoughts on this?

If you saw her before, mention it and see what she says. That really sums it up. Any particular reason you can't or don't want to do that?

It's a BIG mistake to not ask what the rate is. You aren't asking for specific acts such as how much extra for Greek (although many do in fact ask and get answers).

Here you are asking the "donation" to make an appt. for a certain time frame to see her. Fairly simple, easy, and not very complicated. What if you want to see a girl for 2 hours instead of 1 and no price is in an Ad? Just going to book a 2hr., bring a grand with you, and just hold out for hope that the rate is reasonable? I don't know where this somewhat recent flurry of not asking rates began, big recipe for disaster IMO.

Without a verbal confirmation (yeah email will do but you never know who is sending it and it might not be HER) and unless you carry around buckets of cash, not knowing what to pay and having an agreement is pretty dumb. Do you really want to arrive, discuss her fee in person and find out after you've driven an hour that you need to go to the bank or ATM?

Ask!

A late edit:
Not specifically answering your question however...
It is not illegal to be an Escort.
Since Escorting is legal and since they charge for their time, just like many other professionals, it is not unusual to ask what the rate is for their time.

Usually "specials" aren't considered for grandfather rates but each lady is different so you might just politely ask her what your rate is. Since you will be a repeat client, she should be comfortable enough with you to discuss the rate. I know some ladies specifically say in their ads that their specials don't count as grandfathered rates.

I put whatever current ad says her donation is on dresser.

But, let's say
1. her "special" rate when you saw her was $250
2. Her recent rate is $300

I say if you hadn't discussed this prior to the meeting, put $250 in the envelope, extra $50 in the wallet.Ask her politely after you get behind the door. You're prepared either way.

Are you hornier as you grow wiser?

Well, let me tell you guys what works for me. First of, contrary to what some have "accused" me of, I'm not a rampant hobbyist. LOL. I tend to exercise a certain "loyalty" to my top 3 (maybe 5) faves (ok, fine, on occasion, I do test for new candidates, heh). And my top 5 reciprocate beyond the call of duty, too. But I will refresh my list if any of them retire or they're no longer able to "keep up with me".

That said, and you guys can call me stupid, but I never take advantage of these so called specials that any of my top faves might run. Subsequently, it also more or less ensures my grandfathered rates (if they ever raise their prices), and on one of them, she even proposes to take my rates unbelievably low, but still, I've never taken advantage of that either. You think I'm not being wise with my spending habits? Maybe. But let me cite a small example with my top 2's - I'm never on a timer. Actually, they try to schedule me in "after work". My visits goes on for hours for the price of an hour. I call it *true rapport*. As for the remaining 3 in my top handfuls, the timer doesn't ding either at the strike of the hour. Hey, it's what works for me, and for them - it's what makes me a very loyal repeater (but not a hooked trick, I hope, hehe).

Was the special rate for something "special", or just a temporary reduction of her standard hourly rate?
