Is it okay to ask if your date is a LE?
or do you just trust until you meet?

That undercover cops have to admit they are police if asked. They do not.

All you asking will do is make you seem like a full bore newbie and/or paranoid. Neither is optimal, though there is nothing particularly wrong with being a newbie. Some girls might take advantage a bit of that, but many wouldn't.

It is, really, extremely rare for an escort to be a sting. In big cities around here (SF, Oakland) I think it's unheard of.

Hope this helps

-Beware- Of New Clients In Vacaville..There%27S Stings Going On -

The above-thread in the Central Valley Lounge new yesterday caught my eye and your mention of stings reminded me of it.

If something feels off or hinky, walk away. Having enjoyed this hobby for 15+ years, I've never asked a lady that, but I've taken a pass a few times when it seemed there were red flags or it was a dicey situation, but not really very often and rarely because I suspected an undercover op was up and running.

If you are into the whole pick-up-a-street-walker thing, which some of us occasionally are guilty of, DO read up on the Street Action "Street Rules" to be safe.

That seems to be a HOOKER warning other hookers about stings. Nobody is talking about that here. What is being discussed is the possibility of an RB ESCORT being a sting. Pretty big difference, bro!

Of course cops waste time trying to sting hookers. Hey, it's much safer than going after gun toting thugs. But that is NOT what is being discussed here in this thread.

tohono :
IF you are newer to this, get some practice in with reviewed ladies..

Asking does not help, except the idea that you spooked her probably means she is legit.. because a Cop would have said "no of course not, and i'd be happy to suck your dick for 50 bucks, dont you agree?" ..

Meeting an RB provider with no reviews, is called "TOFTT" Taking One For The Team.. there are a lot of posts on how to do this... so read more...

I dont think I have heard of a client sting at a hot tub location, I think they have happened at hotels however.

You did good. She was probably expecting some country
hick that didn't know what questions to ask.

Now, more importantly, you should be aware that not only
are many companies 'outsourcing' Call Centers and technology
jobs to India, Russia, etc. I've heard recently that due to
many city budget problems and police layoffs, that some
cities are outsourcing their police duties to locations in
the Middle East.

I can only assume you are joking, otherwise you are dead wrong ... no PD is outsourcing overseas .. most even fight outsourcing to their neighboring city

Well, if you wanted to spook her out of seeing you, you did a good job.

Everyone has to live with what makes them feel safe.

You are going to piss off a lot more potential dates than find LE with that question.

I think that the point has been beaten to death but did you really, really, think she was going to answer yes if she were LE?

I think that you need to read a little more about the do's and don'ts, the cans and can'ts, and what is more likely, otherwise relegate yourself to AMPs and AAMPs.

If law enforcement officers had to truthfully reply to such a query, then there would be a lot of dead undercover law enforcement officers. It is a common misconception that they are required by law to reply truthfully to this query. In fact, it is legal for them to lie if it facilitates the solving of a crime.

My best friend asked an escort on polk street if she was a cop. She said no. He pay and was arrested. So they of course will say no!!!. They will probably laugh and ask you if you are a cop.

Or even if it facilitates the creation of a crime.

I realize you are being sarcastic here, and appreciate your point.

Just to try and clarify: If the police actually facilitate the creation of a crime, then it stands a fair chance of being entrapment. Or if not, illegal in other ways. I say "a fair chance"(re entrapment) because actually, this is a pretty complicated (and evolving) question legally. One of the tests is whether the police actions tend to encourage a crime when otherwise there wouldn't have been one. More or less.

Didn't you ever see a movie about an undercover cop? Like when Donnie Brasco joins the Mafia. If they said to him, "Are you a cop?" what do you think he'd say?

Cops are allowed -- indeed expected -- to lie to people they're trying to incriminate. Courts have repeatedly supported cops lying to people to convict them of crimes.

The "cop check" and asking "Are you a cop?" are a couple of the biggest myths of the game.

100% right. And you will never get close enough to a decoy to do a "cop check". I have never heard of them getting into your car with you.

It is difficult to find RB escorts who are policemen, but the idea is kinky. Make sure she has handcuffs and a billy stick.
