   Are there any Vietnamese Coffee bars in the East Bay with the bikini girls? Like they have in Milpitas / San Jose?

Fremont? Hayward? Pleasanton/Dublin? Livermore?

the only one's that i know of(bay area)are all in south san jose

You mean to tell me that there are coffee bars where the baristas wear bikinis in the San Jose metropolitan area? May I ask what the name of the establishment is, and where exactly it's located?
I believe there is such a business located in the Seattle area.

   I was going to check one out, but I heard that non-Asian men get funny looks form the other men and feel a kinda unwelcome. If there's any where that's not true, I would check it out (especially if there is a backroom).

I've been to Cafe Quyen off Tully in E San Jose. The women are very hot. I didn't get any dirty looks, but it was crowded and I didn't exactly feel welcome, either. I plan on going back at some point when like-minded friends are in town -- it's like a sports bar with a bunch of TV screens.

There is NOT a back room for extra services, and insinuating such when you are in there will very likely make you feel unwelcome and/or get your ass kicked out of the establishment.

   I went as an indulgence to out of town friends. This was my experience at Cafe Quyen.

Loud, smoky (yes, another of the laws that is flagrantly ignored) and overpriced.

Waitress are "eye candy" but most barely speak English so there's little opportunity to chit-chat (as if you could over the blaring techno music).

Most of the waitress have boyfriends. (some are sitting in the coffee shop)

This is (typically) not an opportunity for P4P.

It isn't even "strip club light" because there's only 2 or 3 girls working.

To each their own, but as a monger, I see no value in going there.

I'd rather save my money for a trip to Darlings II in Nana Plaza where I KNOW that I can have "take out" that night.

There's a bikini coffee drive through in Salem, Oregon and one in Fremont at 46685 Mission Blvd. It's called Your Coffee Cups (cute... I'd like a D-Cup myself). Probably elsewhere too.

Not Viet however. And, as I said, drive through, not a coffee shop/bar atmosphere.

The place in Fremont has three Yelp reviews.

   Interesting, but if that's gross it's not nearly as much as it sounds. I while back I looked into opening a franchise restaurant of some sort. As a comparison, I found that the owner of a Subway, for example, could expect to net 30k per year average. Not too exciting.

   My favorite place was not a coffee bar, but a real bar called Monterey Breeze. It was up the street from the horse racing place. Hot viet waitresses w/ skimpy outfits, several TVs, large seating arrangement, comfortable venue, and the #23 on the menu to die for! (Chopped Steak and red spanish rice). I used to sit at the bar with a few locals and talk to the owner for hours. After a hiatus from the area, I noticed that they have already torn down the building. Oh well for good times...

There's about 8 viet coffee houses in a 2 mile radius on Tully Rd in San Jose...but these places are really only good for looking. Its usually pretty packed with only 2-4 girls working so unless you are a regular, you prob will not get too much 1on1 time from the girls other than them coming by and refilling your tea every once in a while.

You guys may want to try Nha Em on Monterey Rd. Same concept as the viet coffee places except with food and alcohol. The girls here actually hang out and drink/eat with you. Kinda expensive though.
