   I'll just echo what everyone else said about it. Complete waste of time and money. The important thing to remember is that any chick can get laid anytime without a chatting on-line. I even stooped to some of the homelier girls on AM and still got not response. Stick to RB!

Total waste of money and time, stick to RB. Theres a good chance that AM hires people to "act" like they are interested in you. As soon as you pay, boom, no more interests, go figure.

   I've gotten laid from sexsearch but it's been dry for me lately, most of the messages you get are from people paid by sexsearch to keep you subscribing. In a way, they describe it in their terms and conditions.

   Ashley Madison is a complete waste of time and money. It ends up costing you almost $5 for each contact, which enables you to exchange messages with them through the website. Once you use the last of your 'credits', you are blocked from communicating on the site until you re-invest in more 'credits', even with the contacts you have already paid for. I ended up with only one face-to-face meeting after my initial 'buy-in', and it turned out to be with a really scary woman who I retreated from in great haste. I don't recommend.

   I've had a standard account for about a year. Got lots of winks and messages which were sent collect (You have to buy credits to see them) and most are credit burners - nothing.

In early July, I decided WTF and bought 100 credits. I sent winks to both paying and standard members, and sent a few messages to interesting profiles. It did not generate anything.

Ironically, a woman found my profile on AM, we had an email exchange outside of AM. We met and soon thereafter started to meet for some great one on one activity. Since early August we've been meeting about once a week or so. I'm lucky because we can work our work/travel schedules to hook up. At first, I was skeptical about her intentions figuring she was a provider, but no she is just a horny married woman.

Judging from the threads about AM on Redbook, my experience is the exception.

RB is great and a guy doesn't have to really exert any effort. AM is different. Most of the messages are going to be sent collect (i.e. you pay to open the message) and they will be some stupid canned message. And when you do hookup with someone, it can be great. BUT, don't expect to jump into bed immediately - it probably will be some chat, then a meeting or two before jumping into the sack.

Anyway, I don't think AM is a total scam. But, there is a lot of noise and the goal is to get you to spend more money with the hope of getting laid. Your odds are definitely higher on AM than using Craigslist Casual Encounters.

A heck of a lot different than using RB, or picking up a woman at a bar which is heck of a lot less effort with immediate gratification.
