"Exotic Erotic ball vs Pleasure Zone"
 
   I've been to the Pleasure Zone Halloween party and I thought it was real fun. I've never been to the Exotic Ball, would people mind chiming on on their experience between the two places? If I chose the Exotic Ball what would I get different, or what would I not get?

   I like the PZ parties. Much more controlled crowd and women ratio better than 1:1 due to couples and single women only policy. However its not the place to pick up women but for going with a date its pretty cool. Never been to EE but sounds like a zoo with thousands of drunbk crazy people. Not as appealing but if you are single it may be fun to go with a bunch of friends.

Onlylooking is right about Pleasure Zone - this is not the place for a guy to meet girls. Firstly, single men aren't welcome or allowed entrance. Secondly, it's much more oriented towards women meeting other women. If you go at all, you need to bring your own lady with you. But the parties are very good, lots of dancing and heavy flirting, and if you are lucky enough to get invited to a PZ private after-party, the action is phenomenal.

As for the EEB, there's a thread on that every year - last year's discussion was here : http://forum.myredbook.com/cgi-bin/dcforum2/dcboard.pl?az=show_thread&om=42922&forum=general#6. Also check Yelp and other sites with party reviews. If you like to party, EEB is the one place where you're going to find entertainment, music, booze, women, dancing, and general carousing all combined together. Lot's of guys whine about EEB, but like anything else it is what you make of it and the only place you're going to see thousands of hot women dressed in almost nothing and milling around. Like most events, I think the EEB after-parties are the most fun.

   Never been to PZ. Did EEB once when it was in the Concorse on Bryant St. I was with my SO so no attempts to meet anyone else. You could get lucky there and it was a fun experience. With it being in Richmond this year I think it will be fewer people. That requires driving. Besides naked people don't look as good while wearing bullet proof vests.

Some of the naked people from the last few EEBs would have looked so much better wearing bullet proof vests!!!!

IMO EEB reached its peak in 2003 or 2004. After that, the fun police (some Rent-a-Cops some Daily City LE) shut down most of the out in the open sex activity. The year they had the web simulcast was the last great year. I think that moving it away from the Cow Palace won't help it's attendance and will help bring about the end of shows at the CP much sooner.
