"Hot tubs"

This is probably going to come across as common sense to most of the hobbyers on this site, but here it goes anyways...As I am fairly inexperienced in this hobby I am curious to know how a hot tub date goes. I've read about them on some reviews and am just wondering what the system is for one. I'd rather look like a dumbass to you fellow hobbiers than to a woman I am trying to meet. Thanks for the input.

Hot tubs basically are just a good place to do dates. I've done dozens of them there. A hot tub room consists of of the hot tub--a large jacuzzi with plenty of room for several people, kept pretty hot. there is also a kind of bed surface, maybe about the size of a slightly narrow single, and a shower. Also usually a source of music. Beverages are available (non alcoholic, generally) and they are expensive.

There are a lot of different ways to proceed there....one would be to both take a shower first, get down on the semi-bed, then soak in the tub. Maybe getting out for a second round. One note--the hot tub can be pretty relaxing. Depending on how you personally react to it, you might want to get down before tubbing out. Or perhaps expect a little cool down time after you get out, before sex.

Other people like to do foreplay in the tub, then get out for the sex. Or get some head while your sitting on the edge of the tub, and your partner is in it.

Hot tubs charge by the hour, though some give longer times during the day, maybe an extra half hour. They aren't cheap--but at least in SF cheaper than you can get a decent motel for a day. Yeah, there are some motels that will rent by the hour, but it is strongly discouraged by the cops, and hard to find unless the owners know you.

They use so much antibacterial crap in the water that some people can't stand it. If there was a significant health risk, they would be shut down. Just like the gay bathes were shut down in SF--because it was claimed that there was to much unprotected sex going on.

But at some tubs you can actually drain and refill the water yourself. If your a fanatic.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to try a hot tub date soon, don't plan on fs in the water though but a soak after sounds like a nice incentive to use them.

I've only used public hot tubs once, so I'm far from an expert, but I met the provider out front, went to the reception area together, I paid, and we went to the room together. We used the shower together, but never touched the tub. There was a massage table in the room where all the action took place. I'm not too big of a germaphobe, but I shied away from the tub itself. All in all a good experience for me.

My SO and I used to go to Grand Central near Garden City back when we still had hot sex regularly. It was a lot of fun but I'm not sure I would want to do paid sessions there as it's not nearly as comfortable as doing it on a real bed in a hotel room or a private residence.

Their ok if your on a budget. In San Jose their 35 bucks vs 60+ bucks for a motel. People fuck in the water, cum in the water, piss in the water - you name it. Lots of girls will meet there but won't go near the water. The beds suck, the pillows suck and it's hot in the room. Now watercourse way in PA is MUCH better and not a lot of $ more.

If you meet a girl there to fuck, just stay on the bed and go for it.

I recommend Watercourse Way in Palo Alto, a classier spa than most. Some rooms do not have hot tubs, as I recall, but it's been so many years since I've been there that I couldn't describe what they have. See

http://www.watercourseway.com/

I once took a Viet provider there whom I had gotten to know. She liked it.

Watercourse is a nicer place but felt kind of obvious going there for a hook up. I went to a place on Van Ness that was ok. It was very hot and humid. After a good session it was hard to cool down for both of us. We walked out with a little soggy and wilted.

When you go in, you can ask for one of the cooler rooms, if possible. Some are cooler than others (though they might not admit it). Also, I've found if you turn the shower on full blast cold, it kinda cools the room down.

Try Tropical Gardens in Daly City. Some of the rooms are fill on your own and chemical free if you are overly sensitive to the chemicals. When I tried it a while back, the place was fairly clean.

Been there a number of times, right off the freeway, and across the freeway from In and Out burger and Crispy Creme. Part of a larger building that includes a gym, but has it's own entrance. Great parking.

I'm a frequent user of the Hot Tubs in Berkeley and can attest that there is NO problem whatsoever with heat and/or humidity. Unless the tub is left on all the time (which it shouldn't be because that's a lot of wasted energy) by mistake of the employees the room is of normal temperature when it is not in use.

The tub is only turned on when we entered the room. Within the 45 min. or so we spent to do the deed, including dipping into the water, the room never got a chance to really heat up.

As for the chlorine smell yes they used a lot of it so just make sure to take the shower and scrub yourself well with the soap provided. If you do that you'll get rid of the smell about one hour after. And if you're still paranoid, just splash on some cologne or aftershave to mask the chlorine smell.

Last but not least I wouldn't worry about the sanitation of the water. A combination of heat, chlorine and filtering should keep it fairly clean of bacteria.

Any more question/concern?

I used to do hot tubs...

Then I spent an hour there with a girl that I banged whilst in the tub and she let the cum drain out of her and into the tub.

I stopped after that.

Chemicals or no chemicals, that just ruined it for me. Maybe I was just naive in thinking that it didn't happen but once my eyes were open, nup...

Agree with AL09 above. The tubs in Berkeley and on Van Ness in SF are way too hot and stinky. And I would never touch the water in the tub!

But Zen Springs in Oak is pretty nice, big jacuzzi tub that is filled fresh from the tap, a shower and mirrors in the rooms. $25 or $30/person/hour. It's a decent alternative to a hotel.

I've had a few hot tub dates. With the right lady it's a lot of fun. Water sports, a bed, and a shower together. Some hot tubs are nicer than others.
