"levitra vs. viagra"

I've only taken viagra (twice) and got a headache each time. I was wondering for those who've taken both, is levitra as effective as viagra, and are the headaches the same, worse, or less.

I don't need those yet, knock on wood, but I heard about the blue vision problems and even cases of blindness with Viagra. I don't know about the other ed drugs like Levitra or Cialis. Scary huh?

I've been taking Levitra for a long time now. It's good for people who have high blood pressure and borderline diabetics. I tell you it works perfect for me. i have not taken Viagra so I don't know its effectiveness. Levitra does not give me headaches. Take one pill one hour before sex and will work wonders. Ask your doctor.

I found Levitra to be stronger than Viagra, and I have also heard others say the same thing. However when I talked to my doctor, he seemed to feel that Viagra might be safer as it has been used/tested by more customers. I also found that it takes Levitra longer than Viagra to start working.

>I've only taken viagra (twice) and got a headache each time.

Maybe you should try splitting the pill in half and taking a smaller dose. But again, talk to your doctor.

I have taken all three. They all work

Levitra is the strongest, gives u amazing hardness and girth. Unfortunately had the worst side effects: headaches and bad flushing. Last longer than Viagra.

Viagra workes too but is shorter acting the L or C. Still got slight headaches and flushing but not as bad as Levitra and still gets you plenty hard.

Cialis had the fewest side effects and lasts for several days. The first 6 hours make you real hard and then the rest of the time is closer to a normal erection. I get very little flushing with Cialis.

I've never taken any of these so this is probably a dumb question but are you saying you have wood for several days after taking Cialis? Sounds painful!

to keep you confused: i've tried both. have had more success & no side effects with viagra. also, if i hold off orgasming, i can have another strong erection in the morning after a long night of fucking.

once you're in, it's hard to get out.

Viagra Advisories:

Initially, some users reported blurred vision with blue background, the blue screen of Dick!

Now, the news of hearing loss in some users have surfaced. Pfizer will add warning messages on the Viagra bottles.

The first law of universe still holds! When the dick is in-charge, you will either go blind or def or both!!!!

Life is simple - there are no "TRYs", either DOs or DON'Ts!

I don't need any ED medications yet -- at least, not when I'm with my wife. When I've gone hobbying, however, I've found that I can get a bad case of the nerves.

I got one of those ED sample packs from an online pharmacy. I've now tried sildenafil (Viagra) and vardenafil (Levitra). I tried each one by myself at first, without the pressure of unfamiliar companionship, so that I could pay close attention to my body. I actually took notes.

I found that V works better for me, and now I've sessioned with it.

Here's a more detailed report of my experience.

First, I don't take full doses. Knowing that I don't need help under normal circumstances, I started with one quarter of a tablet of V, that's 25 mg. It worked. When I first tried L, I also tried to use a quarter tablet, 5 mg. After an hour, I wasn't responding as well as I did with V, so I added another 5 mg.

I have a proper pharmacy pill cutter. Get one if you want to cut pills, you'll make a mess with an ordinary knife.

When V or L hits your stomach, you'll feel a burn for a minute. But when you cut a pill, you compromise the protective coating. I bet you would not experience this discomfort if you take a whole tablet.

I find my erections with V to be a bit better, more spontaneous, not as easily lost when I'm momentarily distracted.

I get facial flushing and a bit of nasal congestion with both V and L. This has one subtle disadvantage during a sexual encounter: your sense of smell is impaired. I love to smell a woman's skin, including some rather intimate places. Olfactory pleasure is part of DATY for me.

I experience headaches after taking both L and V. But with V, the headache is subtle, nothing much. My headache with L was more intense. It started about eight hours after I took the pill, and it felt like pressure behind my eyeballs. I had to go to bed early that day.

Summary: relative to the standard doses, I get about twice as much satisfaction from V than from L, and with milder side effects.

Of course, YMMV. I'm using generics of both L and V, and I don't know how good the manufacturing and quality control might be compared to the brand-name medicines. Also, my body and your body are not biochemically identical.

I was surprised to read these postings, and maybe my experience shows that we all react differently. I recently switched to Levitra after several years of Viagra because that's all that's offered with my new employer's Kaiser plan. My experience is that Levitra seems milder, with less resulting flushing, sinus congestion and headaches. The trade-off is that for me it takes longer to work (at least 1 hour) and doesn't create quite as dependably the rod of steel under all circumstances as Viagra (especially with food), which to me feels harsher and stronger. As for the recommendation to cut a 20mg Levitra pill in half and use 10mg, no way, for me anyway. Overall if I had to choose between one, I would probably lean toward Levitra, as I hate those Viagra headaches. But if I had to carry one out on a night of wild drinking, eating and partying (such as my trips to Bangkok), I would have more confidence in Viagra.

Why not ? Doing that cuts your drug cost in half. Levitra 10 and 20 mg. tabs cost the same.

It's not about cost, I don't think 10mg would be enough as even 20mg doesn't seem that strong, and I've never wanted to experiment with a $200 session at stake. Maybe on a very empty stomach with no alcohol.

Absolutely no alcohol before sexual activity. It increases the desire but takes away the performance.

Levitra can be given up to 40 mg. at once. The 40 mg. will yield additional therapeutic benefit, but at the risk of the well-known side effects of all ED meds.

I like to have a few beers before. The desire seems to be higher and it does not appear to hinder my performance at all, at least so far.

I thought the recommendation is for a 20 mg maximum dosage for Levitra. Was there any side effect to going all the way to 40 mg?

Are Pharmacy pill cutters readily available? Where can I get one in retail store or online? I noticed a cheap pill cutter at WalMart. Not sure if there's a difference.
