"Need a comprehensive list of low glycemic food inex"

I'm looking for a comprehensive low g food index. Kaiser's list is pathetic, found this site:

http://www.the-gi-diet.org/lowgifoods/

but I don't feel it is complete

I've checked iphone apps and all of the low g apps were created by non-healthy care pros, plus they all have mixed to low scores

Gi index is not written in stone yet so the list is added to as the indexing Is done

I suggest you get the book called gi diet by gallop. It's been around awhile so a used book from amazon will be cheap. What's good about it?
The way it's laid out. See link
http://www.gidiet.com/en-us/newfoods.pdf

Green list foods to eat. Yellow eat but limit. Red avoid.

Gallops book is routinely used by diabetic educators to teach the diet as it's simple and nearly learner proof.

South beach is based on gi index

As someone who only plays doctor during a session, but is a pretty good consumer of information, sometimes I come across conflicting data.

For example, Gallop's Red List contains whole milk, but The Glycemic Index for Dummies, written by a RD, writes that whole milk has a Low G index rating.

That is a pretty big data gap. Is there some kind of board or association that blesses any of these index numbers? I've checked the diabetes.org site and haven't turned up answers, ,,,yet

The glycemic index is a system that ranks carbohydrate foods according to their immediate effect on blood sugar levels. Carbohydrates that break down quickly have a high glycemic rating; these foods can help replenish carbohydrate stores that have been depleted through vigorous exercise. Foods that break down slowly have a low glycemic rating, creating a smaller rise in blood sugar, and are therefore helpful for weight control. The index uses a scale that ranges from 0 to 100. Pure glucose is used as a reference, and is given a glycemic index of 100. The official Glycemic Index website, developed at the University of Sydney, considers foods with a glycemic index above 70 to be high. (Some sites give certain foods a glycemic index that is higher than 100; these sites are using an older version of the index, which uses white bread as the standard and ranks it at 100.)

http://care.diabetesjournals.org/content/31/12/2281.abstract. Use this to guide you but
There is NO standard index. Best thing is to look up university of sidney as they are
The inventors of the concept.

This is a list from them but it's older.
http://www.mendosa.com/gilists.htm.

Until one country on the planet mandates the gi index value on a label,
It's going to be used as a teaching tool to educate how make better food choices.

to lower sugar he are a couple of great tips docs wont tell you
cut off carbs at about 4pm, meaning dinner is only veggies and protein

combining carbs with protein or fat reduces the amount of sugar your body takes in from the carb once its converted

some people have a dab of peanut butter on an apple etc.... if you go to movies and have to have candy have peanut M&Ms for the same reason

trust me my sugar was 1610 and I lived to tell it
