"uti question"

So i met wirh a provider and she used a seaweed lotion/gel. I also received a BBBJ.
The next day i started having pains in my penis and bladder. Could an STD show symptoms in less than 24 hours or could i have gotten an infection from the lotion/gel?

An STD can show symptoms in seconds, hours, days, weeks or months later.

Go to a doctor asap!!!!!!!!!

based on the quickness of the symptoms, probably just an allergic reaction to the seaweed gel.

Dear northern73,

STDs could show symptoms in less than 24 hours, but rarely. The chanches are you do not have any STDs, but if the symptoms persists for more than a week, you should go get tested just to be sure.

So I saw a doc. got the tests and all and came back clean. Did a few other tests. came back as a reaction to the seaweed. live and learn.

Huh ? What test, other than a dermal patch test, could demonstrate a contact allergy to that seaweed prep ?
