Expensive and not covered by insurance. Might not be so bad if you have a HSA and can run the expense through there.

I tried Lamasil pills for 4 months without much improvement. Then tried fluconasole (Diflucan) 400mg once a week for 6 months and now, 9 months later it seems completely gone, but I wouldn't be surprised if I needed to retreat at some point in the future.

obtw 30 tabs of generic 200mg fluconazole at Costco pharmacy is $19.95

Yep it works well, but so does Bengay and Vicks vapor rub. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20060912114050AA8YkYO Cause it takes at least six months for the nail to grow out, there is no instantaneous cure.
