Stayed at the Riu Palace Las Americas (all-inclusive hotel, I recommend .. clean, great rooms) I had read up here about Cancun destinations, however from what I could tell the popular ones were a ride from my hotel.

There’s a small strip-mall directly across the street from the Hotel, on the cab ride in I noticed a massage place .. so I walked over to check it out, not sure if there were extras available there, it was too open looking though, so kept walking around (was noon-ish). At the left edge of the strip-mall (viewed from the front of the hotel) there was a guy trying to sell time-shares .. BS’ed with him for few minutes and he told me what I was looking for was right around the corner.

I slipped him a little cash, and he walks me around behind the strip-mall .. (more or less behind where the bank is) there’s a plain arched doorway with a buzzer and an intercom box, no signs. He tells me to press the buzzer. Door opens and there’s a small clean lobby, pretty much like an AMP. Heavy-set lady behind the counter (mamasan-ita?) asks me if I’d like to see the girls, which I answered ‘please’.

There is a long hallway of rooms off the lobby, beginning with a ‘Deluxe’ room which had a big bed and a Jacuzzi. I sat on the bed as the girls came in one at time and gave me a hug+kiss, asked my name and told me theirs. All were good looking from tall to short, little thick to thin … very nice /enthusiastic. I chose ‘Hailey’ and she went to get ready while I went to pay. She started at like 3200 pesos for an hour, talked her down to 2500 ($200). Probably more wiggle room there, but I was there for the experience, not worrying about haggling. For what it’s worth the place did have a name (was a flyer inside) but I don’t remember it.

Rooms were clean, included shower, all services covered (my insistence) although bbbj offered. Anything I asked to do .. her response was always a smile and the purring of ‘I am yours!’ looks/service 7~8. Attitude 10.

Talked to my new friend at the time-share place as I walked back to the hotel, he told me about a night-club in walking distance called ‘Minx’ (walk down past the Hooters a ways and then take a right … don’t know the street names but was pretty easy to find and lots of street traffic, seemed safe)

Checked it out that night … it’s basically a lap-dance bar, girls will come hang out with you as long as you buy them drinks ($30) every HH/45 min. Music was loud .. Girls that weren’t with customers would dance in the middle of the place. It was a little intimidating in that there were like 3 male employees (bouncer looking) to each customer .. but there was no drama. Private rooms upstairs, paid 1600 pesos for a CBJ (a guy came in right before the act and charged me $5 US for a hat, which was both mood-spoiling and unnerving, but whatever).

Again, this was my first time hobbying abroad (let alone solo) and normally WAY out of my comfort range … was happy I pushed my newbie-self to do it though, had a great time.

Sucks, though, when Spain and Germany is cheaper than certain places in a Third World country like Mexico... In Oaxaca I've gotten BBBJs for free--well, as part of a $US 20 lap dance. 1600 pesos for a CBJ is just fricking insane. Covered everything, which you prefer, in Oaxacan brothels is only 300-500 pesos.

Damn gringos and chilangos fresas have to ruin everything, ay...

In any case, thanks again for your TR, especially since you ventured out of your comfort zone. You should do it more often!
