I went to Cartagena with the vague idea I would have some kind of GFE. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Cartagena is a sexy city, but it is also a vacation destination for bourgeois Colombians and their families. Unlike what I understand about Pattaya or AC, there is no egregiously overt street scene. High percentage of families on the beaches and wandering the streets of the tourist areas. Real GFE can be had but seems to be centered on late night dance clubs. I think you have to have a little bit of game to get it, which I don't. Yes, I saw plenty of slightly overweight 30 to 40 something Americans and Europeans smooching and loving their beautiful twenty something GF's, but I didn't get any. I also saw some lonely, aged white men, sitting by themselves, hoping something would magically happen. I felt like going up to them, "Dude, it's not going to happen here, unless you make it happen". So, while there seems to be plenty of real GFE here, you have to seek it out.
1) Colombian girls are, on average, have to rank near the top for beauty, poise, being well groomed, and low BMI.
2) Cartagena has tons of pretty, thin, young, perfectly groomed, black street walkers. These are the only girls I did, and they gave pretty good service for the money...$20 to $25 for an hour (time only seemed limited by the cheap, short time room). Two complaints: one, they have never had their pussies eaten and seem to think it is the weirdest perversion possible. Two, they universally pluck their eyebrows...what the fuck is that about? They say it makes them look thinner???
3) The street girls are already super thin. None of the girls I did had an ounce of fat. They all had six packs...so this could be a destination if you like thin black girls. Makes you realize just how fat american black girls are.
4) When Surfer was in his Latin phase, the COP was > 3000 to the dollar. As with the Argentinian peso, the COP collapsed in 1999/2000 to 1/10th of its previous value. Nothing engenders a desire for sex with old foreigners more than a massive currency devaluation. The COP has been quite stable with the dollar for years now, and Cartagena is the most expensive city in Colombia, so this is not a super bargain destination.
5) Colombia is a foreign country with its own culture, independent of the US. Cartagena is a major port city. It is not a destination sex resort like Sosua in the DR. You have to speak pretty decent Spanish here, or you won't have fun.
