House Group (DHG) based on the Christmas incident involving Swedish Tomas which was the subject of a post by me a few weeks back discussing the boycott of DHG bars (including Atlantis). I had really planned not to go this trip, but the banner (first pic) out front drew me in like the Loreilei Rock along the Rhine. Keeping my conscience somewhat clean, I did not spend a single piso, although my friends spent 20K or so buying numerous ladies drinks for a group of the 3000Piso star dancers and they got quite appreciative, and interactive, in our laps stageside (which will be the subject of the second part of this post in a day or two after I block out the faces of the innocent, er guilty! This first set shows the huge number of girls with body paint. Atlantis (and Dolhouse) pionerred the weekly shows with girls in bodypaint, and allowing photography, as a way around the absurd nudity restrictions imposed in recent years (when I first came to ac in 94 it was no holes barred on stage and you could take video etc!).

They claimed to be trying to set a World record for most number of girls in a club in bodypaint (somebody call Guiness to verify!) . Periodically Koreans would walk up to teh second level and start showering down money or chocolates on the gitls on the first floor stage. Managament tied money to ballooons which bthey released in clumops through the evening to keep the girls in a festive mood (nothing brings out the smile of a bargirl like FREE MONEY!).

After a brief speech by the American general manager celebrating two years in business, they released a treasure trove of money and prize laden balloons at midnight that caused a feeding frenzy to make a Great White proud.
