"Forbidden Palace, new 'hot' spot"
 
   Located virtually across the street from Dirty Duck is a newer bar that was under construction when I was here in December. Owned by same owner as Lewis Grand Hotel and Dirty Duck. Stumbled in their late last night as was blown away by the partying going on and the quality of the girls. Many had lost their bikinis somewhere but didn't much care. Whew...what a night.

I did write my trip report from Forbidden City a couple of weeks ago. I also thought it was the best spot, well at least for me.

Sex alleviates tension. Love causes it!

   Went back in a bit earlier last night. Still great but their EWR pricing is a bit high. 2700P for the top flight girls and 2000P for the waitresses. Regular dancers are 1500P.

Now the 2700 might seem high but if you talk with the girl they will go with no "tip" which works out not to be that much more than the other places. The high EWR for waitresses also strikes one as a bit bizzare but trust me...the waitresses at this place are incredible.

But when all was said and done there still is a warm place in my heart for the touchy feeling times at Niftys. After waking up with an incredible hang-over and the girl I was with started her period I was in need of some effortless fun. So off to Niftys for some down and dirty fun. That was just what the doctor ordered....

Thanks for the photos. Forbidden City is one of my favorite "Big" AC Clubs. Crystal Palace and Atlantis have nice eye candy as well. Forbidden City is just so beautiful to sit in!!!

Last month the barfine at Forbidden Palace for the Models/Nasty Girls was "only" 2,500 pesos. I barfined two "model" girls last month. Not that price or 200 pesos difference would influence my decision too much (just visiting, not living there). Barfines on the Perimeter are so much lower but the quality of the girls can vary so much IMHO.

I too like the atmosphere of the Dirty Duck - girls can be frisky there like Soi 6 - a lower Fields bar with a "Perimeter feel." Lots of hot girls - although I've only barhopped there and the only girl I almost barfined was "cherry."

Had a great time in the Golden Nile (elevator upstairs). They had lots of hot ladies. Barfined a girl I couldn't resist for 2,500 pesos last month.

Golden Nile has some awfully tempting premium priced talent as the simian notes.

Yes dirtyduck is one of the exceptions on lower fields that gets interactive like a Perimeter place. The comparison to soi 6 misses the mark, IMHO, as there are actually dancers on perimter (even in the Red Spot, the most upscale place on soi 6, I've yet to see the stripper poles actually used). Also, I've never seen a bakla/katoey/ladyboy in dirtyDuck whereas soi 6 is about 25% katoeys.

B: goes to show I haven't been there recently except once for 1 drink and out and did not see the bakla mamasan. My fried gave me a coupon for 50% off a barfine that was expiring but a quick perusal did not excite me and ended up elsewhere. But several guys say good things about it.

It could be that you are so p.i. biased you only spot katoeys in Thailand.

FP is this the place run by the guys over at Lewis Grand?

Have not found a reason to go back to Angeles for a while but if its Lewis' place he knows how to party good guy, who knows the customer always comes first.

Forbidden Palace, Dirty Duck, and Lewis Grand have the same primary owner. FP and Dirty Duck are definitely two of the better Gogo Bars on Lower Fields... Aparently there was a pool sex party at the Lewis Grand recently that was busted up by the police...

   The Forbidden Palace looks like the hot spot in AC for certain.

Who would you rate as the Top 5 clubs and spots that are a must see for the visitor to AC?

Trying to see if it is worth staying an extra night here in AC....

   Can you please clarify what you mean by ladyboy or bakla in Dirty Duck as the mamasan? I think you may be confusing people. I was there recently and didn't see anyone like that, but I did see a gay man there as a papasan or you can say mamasan. He had his what I consider flaming gay clothes on, but he was clearly dressed to be a man and not dressed as a woman in a dress or heels or anything of that sort. I consider that different than a ladyboy or bakla. Am I wrong on this? Didn't think he was trying to deceive anyone that he was a woman in anyway.

   I'm curious to why people think this place is so great. I was there recently and happen to disagree with most posts of how great this place is. The dancers were not special. The models or whatever had some lookers but looked like had some serious attitudes. The waitresses were nice but no way any different than any other place. They did have a few nice looking doorgirls. Curious if there is some bias because the owners may somewhat have a local connection here in the bay area.

I have doubts on their ability to keep on going as they are with the more expensive barfines for what appears to be about the same talent as other bars. A problem in AC is that talent usually moves or gets bought out. A constant need to bring in new talent to replace their losses is usually not an easy task. Forbidden City with their structure would have to constantly bring in hot looking women which is usually not easy in AC to justify barfines as they charge.

To each his own.

I think is makes sense that each punter will BF his lady based upon the quality of the talent, and his desire to pay that going rate. With F City, it must be their business model that makes it viable for them to charge their rate for BF or EWR, granted it is not appealing to all, but can't argue that the talent and eye candy is plentiful and fun and friendly. As with any bar, if you see what you like, you BF the lady and off you go. Personally, i like a larger place with plenty of choices, and this place along w Dirty Duck hits the spot. To each his own, but enjoy and have fun.

Anyone have any more recent photos of Forbidden City ladies?

Background: I'm going on my 4rd month living in Angeles City - so I've now been to every bar on or around Fields Avenue (probably several times over).

Bias: I did meet one of the partners of Forbidden City, who offered to comp me my first drink there - to which I politely refused... I appreciated the gesture, but at a dollar or two per drink, c'mon man.

Response: Any bar's talent may not be there on any given day. Going to a bar once and saying the bar isn't so great... I can say that about ANY BAR!!!

When I go out on a Monday night, my expectations are lowered. Not all the girls work on slower nights.

Forbidden City is in a class with Atlantis, Crystal Palace, and Dollhouse for the sheer numbers of women, many of which can be very hot on any given night.

My recommendation for all doubters??? Go to FC at 9:00 pm or so on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday - that's when the hot/most girls are there - then immediately go over to Atlantis or the other "big" gogos. FC holds it's own in comparison.

If you think these gogo's have girls with big attitudes, head down to the smaller Perimeter Bars... The attitude is lower key there, the girls can be hot (but more hit and miss as the numbers just aren't there).

Went to Forbidden City last night (A Thursday night) for barhopping.

Forbidden City is the new AC "hot" spot. Here's what the Forbidden City scene looked like:

I was sitting there with my 3 AC friends and my new girl - The DJ was rocking out with a heavy metal type song (although mostly a hip hop night) and Rose (pics of her posted here) and 3 other girls were SWIRLING 20 feet high on the 3 stripper poles. Some young kids (my guess, Orange County) were throwing money off the balcony, some drunk guys were shooting off the confetti poppers, over 100 girls everywhere... I just sat there and smiled.

BIAS - I am not affiliated with the club whatsoever, just a customer.

Again, I recommend going there on Thursday, Friday, and/or Saturday around 9 pm or so.

Just get here (with a few bucks!) - that's the hardest part! Once you're here, it's easy to meet up with people to show you around. I came here by myself and not knowing anyone, and now I have too many people with whom to hang out!!!

Fly in to Manila, catch a taxi to Angeles City, rent a hotel closer to Fields - like the Walkabout Hotel and walk everywhere. It will take you a couple of weeks to get check out all the gogo's/bars - then explore the Perimeter bars once you are comfortable, rent a motorbike, or walk/trike taxi ride.

Gogo's start to open as early as 12 pm with the bigger gogo's opening around 7 pm. And one or two gogo's/bars that I know of never close!!!

SFRedbook has so many good threads of people who have been around - a great resource - Feel free to inbox with a specific question or two...

I love ac for four days but four months staying there is way over teh line for me. I hope you get out of Pampanga and see some of the beauty of the Philippines Chimpy. Grab your fav girl, rent a car for a week and drive up to Pagudpud.
