"TR: Quito, Ecuador - Body's"

I was in Quito last week for business. I wasn't there for long; I had one "free day".

I decided to walk around "Gringolandia", which apperently is the neighborhood where the most foreigners are.

I stumbled upon a place called "Body's" (it's on Seis de Dicembre across from San Ignacio (street)). It has a sign outside and from the entrance it goes directly downstairs.

I decided to check it out, since I was pretty sure it was a brothel (prostitution is legal in Ecuador). When I got down, it looked like a bar with a dance floor. I was there at about 4:30pm. There were about 6 girls present and two guys.

A guy (the manager or something) came up to me. It was $3 USD entrance fee, which includes one drink. After paying him, I looked around.

Most of the girls I would rank between 5 and 6.5, but there was one girl I would rank 7.5 (face 7, body 8).

I got my drink and positioned myself next to her. I don't speak spanish, she didn't speak english, so the conversation was difficult. But I managed to get the price from her. It was $30 USD for a show; there was actually a sign saying that the house gets $20 of that, so $10 would be hers. I couldn't find out how long the $30 would get me.

I took her up on that. After she got a condom from the bar lady, she led me to a small private room. The room looked clean.

She started dancing for/against me, with my hands roaming all over, loosing clothing in the process. But it did turn out that a show does not include sex. So after a while she signals for sex and let's me know it's $20. I didn't want to pay that much, so I tell her I just like the show, since I get to touch her all over anyway.

She then puts her hand inside my boxers and starts massaging. She then says/signals sex for $10. Hmmm, getting more attractive, but I didn't really needed a fuck, so I offer her $5 for a blowjob. She agrees and puts on a condom and starts sucking.

After a couple of minutes, she lies back on the bed, spreads her legs and signals me to come in. Not sure if she misunderstood or if she was feeling generous. We had sex in three different positions and she allowed LK but no DFK.

I came and I cleaned myself up (there's a seperate room with a sink to wash up) and left the place.

All in all a very nice experience: Got laid for only $38. Looking back, I could've probably gotten the initial $30 down also.

   Not sure Oralio.

Ecuador is the first South American country I have been to, and I wasn't there for long.

What I do know is that they pay in USD, so it's easy that you don't have to do any conversion. Also the dollar goes a long way there for a lot of things, but not for things they import. I learned from a colleague that the president passed a bill to tax import goods very heavily. So stuff like TVs, computers and things like that are actually more expensive there than in the US. And even though gas is very cheap, import cars are more expensive also (I don't think they produce a car in Ecuador). But stuff like food, taking a cab or bus, prostitutes, entrance fees to parks etc are very cheap.

Quito (the only place I was at) is at 10.000 feet, so you will feel more tired walking upstairs and stuff (heh, I felt it quite good when I was having fun at Body's ). It's something you probably get used to, but if you are in bad health lung wise (or smoke), it probably wouldn't be too bad. There are of course other cities closer to sea level.

Quito also has a higher crime rate, especially if you don't look like a local. My colleagues (some of them are white or Asian) had plenty of stories and precautions to tell me, like always wear a backpack on the front, after dark only travel door to door with a cab instead of walking, don't accept a piece of paper from a stranger, since it can be drugged and more.

So with common sense, you should be fine, but it is more dangerous. My colleagues did tell me that outside of Quito, most areas are actually very safe.

There are side effects at low altitude which would hold true at high altitude, the main ones being indigestion and headache. If you aren't take nitrates or drinking too much, you should be fine. Drinking too much at high altitude is a problem in itself.

Thanks for the report on Quito. I have been thinking of going there lately and the airfare and time there are not so bad. I really enjoy Buenos Aires and Medillin but Quito might be interesting as well as cheap.

From what I read and hear, BA is a lot more sophisticated and cultured, but it seems that you pay for that, relative to a place like Quito, and perhaps Lima.

Ecuador seems wisely to enact policies which specifically make them more attractive to american expats and retirees, so I hope that more and more reports will start coming back on Ecuador.
