In April we stopped publishing a newsletter for numerous reasons. Since then we have put a lot of time into updating the pages on our website.

We have also been testing a new page with a index of our site combined with a current news & photos column on the right side. We had 78 people give use their inputs on this new page. These individuals were people that sent emails to us when they found out the newsletter was being discontinued. Based on the feedback from this group we made several changes, and this page is now ready to become a new permanent part of the Margarita Station website.

This new page displays with a black background as this was preferred by an overwhelming majority of those polled. However, a number of people preferred a lighter background saying it was easier for them to read. You can switch to the lighter background by clicking on that option on the top right portion of the page. Other than the background, the pages are identical. Anything posted appears on each page. Just bookmark the one you like.

Although this new format is different, this page will contain almost everything we used to put in our newsletters, but in a much more timely manner.

I do not plan to put in as many news clipping as I did before, but will of course add those like the recent triple murders. If you want more news clippings I suggest you check out http://www.balibago.org/default.php for local news stories.

From time to time more information or photos will become available on a subject. In those cases we will add the new information to original story and place an asterisk (*) after the title.
