Chicago has been on life support for ages. Late at night on weekends it might be passable.

There is a new mega club one block over from Adelitas called Dulce & Gabbana. There are a handful of guys on block with Adelitas trying to steer people over there. I did not check it out as IMHO the more barkers/touts the more of a clip joint it will be. HK and AB dont need to hire guys to bring in customers.

At the border taxi station there are many signs and drivers trying to steer you to Amnesia. I would NOT follow their lead and just be firm where you want to go. I never take Yellows (not ONLY to save the $2 but on principle I rather support independents than a cartel) but my friend is old and insisted on paying the $5 for a yellow to avoid the short walk.

Dulce & Gabbana does nothing for me. There has always been a bar there, and they remodeled and changed the name recently. Beers are two for one most nights (good deal), but fiches are 100p or $9, vs $7 at all other bars (bad deal). Girl selection is not that great either.

I agree CC is hanging by a thread. BUT it is open after 3 AM if you are a late night kind of guy.

Amnesia is a Revo SC. Some good talent, but expensive - LD or limited action type place. I would not recommend. HK is a far better experience.

I have had a lot of luck taking girls out of LC recently. The last one ran my ass ragged in a TLN.

LC = LAs Chavelas aka Miami Bar, next door to the immediate left of Hong Kong, has a flock of new girls from all over the interior of Mexico, i have been pulling gems out of there for months now, that is the hidden spot for low mileage girls who are non pros but are fun and passoneate girls, most will go for around $40 or $45 USD max, and they have almost all been great. They come to town with 2 or 3 girl firends, stay 3 or 4 weeks only, usually one is a gem in the crowd, price is not an issue, they are very happy to go arriba, good dancers also, GFE is possible with many of them, a far better experience than the pros from AB.

Yes, it helps if you speak some Spanish at LC, but many girls know enough English that it is not an issue, you WILL find gems there if you go in, Spend at least 30 minutes and study all of the girls carefully, and then speak to the ones that interest you the most, and bammo- you score. If you walk thru Las Chavelas and leave in 3-5 mins, you will never find the gems, trust us. Culo and me are on to something here, it is there for the asking.

I would reocmmend LC Club and Monserate as a provider.

I got GFE first time, but I also speak Spanish well, flirt with them, and agree to $40 for 30 minutes (I cannot stand the TJ quickie thang).

Agree on Chaveles FOR THOSE WITH TIME. For quick trysts not the best as you need to talk a bit to ascertain chemistry before agreeing to go arriba. The music and dancing are quite different from whorehouses and not all gringos will dig the atmosphere which is VERY different than HK.

Would have been nice if they play pop, tropical, rock-in-espanol, reggaeton, even cumbia... but nooooooo, they have to keep playing just one ranchero after another.

For those who don't know this is the equivalent of the USA most hillbilly's country music. I just can't dance to it and the music just absolutely KILL any party or romantic mood I might have.

Sorry but HK just isn't for me. Sure it is a lot of raunchy fun but it just reeks too much of a mercenary atmosphere to me. Sure they are all prostitutes but while at HK they look and act like dirty strippers and tramps, the girls take on a more "normal civilian" form at AB. At AB you can at least pretend that you just happen to be in a normal bar but with beautiful women dressing provocatively who can be had as supposed to the in-your-face barely-there almost-naked women walking around HK.

I enjoy having a few beers and ogle at HK but it is at AB that I take the girls upstairs. HK atmosphere is simply too bright, too loud, too raunchy... for someone like me who likes small talks and relaxed conversation with a girl in a sexy and provocative but nice looking outfit.

HK Bar is cool but I dont think all the girls in there are for sale. I may be wrong, but it seems like many (of the better looking ones) are just strippers and/or bar girls looking to milk you out of drinks and dances. Am I wrong here?

Every girl working in the Zona will go up with you to screw.
Now there are some who are too new, or on the rag, or waiting for their regular client, novio, etc., that will say no, but that is the first response, subject to negotiation.

The Zona has improved, from the standpoint of security. The bars are still obnoxious because of the loud music, the pushy meseros, and everyone out to get as much money from you with minimal effort.

But the chicas are worth all the crap you have to put up with.

Best value anywhere.
