   He's been there, he knows better or maybe not. He got beat up and robbed for no apparent reason he says while walking in Manila, but with his consistent behavior here and another message board I'm more resigned to think there was more to it than he mentions or can see. He feels safer in Thailand maybe because he hasn't gotten a beat down there, possibly because they may have a lot more tolerance for douche bag type behavior than the Filipinos do. He'll never let that incident go just because he is what he is and he'll be in denial either way that his behavior may have led to his quick dismissal in Manila. When I saw that thread about the guy getting beat up in the Thailand bar I visualized him for some reason.

No need to post pics to show him anything, it won't change his mind or attitude. For people who haven't been to the Philippines, there is some good reasons to go but at the same time, idiots should not go there, because Filipinos don't have the tolerance for idiotic behavior as other countries and they are more prone to do something very childish or immature more quickly in response as it is a very poor country and they have nothing to loose.

To each his own.

   I'm not going to debate the mugging in Ermita, but the Thai girls are multiple times better looking...IMHO...but the good thing about the phils is that "anybody" can find a girl....belly or not!!! They aren't that picky!!!

I think most regular readers know to view FOD's incessant put downs of the PI as nothing more than him grinding his axe because he got mugged by LA Cafe (now closed). There are plenty of spinners in the PI, although the average is not as svelte as in Other SE Asian countries.

O: Actually 90% of the girls in AC are not much (any?) over 5 feet tall. Very few 4 footers lol. And while there are a fair number of more fair skinned types, many of us avoid those like the plague because we love that brown skin above all others. If short and brown turn you off, AC is probably not the place for you. If tall and light is your thing, Atlantis and Dollhouse feature dancers are probably much more to your liking.

Short, brown and from Samar are the three most important criteria for getting GFE in AC.

Thanks for the info, as always, Brother S, but you should know I was kiddin'....I'm a brownie hunter from way back. I don't need shortness, but I like shortness. My biggest gripe -- I hate fake boobs.

I like the taller ones and can almost always find a few that are in the 5'6" range. Most seem to be about 5'2", with the occassional amer-asian at 5'7" plus. I tend to frequent Olongapo/Barrio Barreto/Subic and not AC.

You can find the taller ones in the casa's in the larger towns, but I would not recommend that activity unless you have a local guide with you.

O: GREAT sign of relief.

NEVER seen a silicone (or saline) bag in the PI ever.

Yes the taller ones are available, but often you will pay a premium as tall and light skinned are much desired. Many jobs will advertise a minimum height for female applicants. They use more whitening creams than Michael Jackson.

This is all a bonus for those of us bottom feeders willing to accept girls with the misfortune of being short and brown (:
