PI pharcies are often more anal about RX than even here (more items covered). But as noted, a doctor visit is 200 pisos, not dollars, so easy to get a script for most of what you want.

Never had Philly's experience of them just raising the price (which seems fair!). Like in Cambodia if you have no picture with your visa application it costs you an extra $2 to enter thye country. Not $2 for them to take a picture mind you, just $2 to pocket LOL

I need to refill my sleeping pill supply very soon. I asked friedn who lives in Pattaya but he said they would not sell to him (the place I know is in BKK right past gas station on Suk at Soi 4 (Nana).

Personally for me, I don't recommend people buy from vendors on the streets. I did it once when a friend who lived there recommended a vendor as having legitimate stuff. The Cialis in the box sold to me did not work at all. I don't think it's worth the risk of buying stuff from those guys and won't do it again.

Now, on the street - at least in my experience ( and this is for the street version of vitamin C or V,) it works just fine.

My last visit in January, it ( either the 4 tablets of V or C ) was easily obtained from the street vendors at 100 pisos a box. Even my "regular" supplier was down to 120 pisos a box. I always have some orders to fill back here at home.

Interestingly ( his sales pitch ) ..... "Don't trust those guys down on Fields .... they will shortchange you ( 2 pills ) or they are buying the cheap stuff." Of course, when I talk to him, he can't make any money at 100 pesos a box except when he has no money and is hungry, then he will oblige.

Therefore ......... I would say anything over 120 pisos is overpaying. My .02
