LETS GO i have a place i stay which is very cool one block away from all the action ,quest frendly ,guest freindly and great people rooms are ok nothing fancy ,but clean ,let me know ,safer in crowds

sounds like a plan ill be getting there on saturday ,taking advatege of cheap air fairs

well got my air flight should be in tj around 6 on saturday ,just dont know were to stay yet ,my old favorite ,or the tuican ,looks nice ,is it walking distance to all the clubs ,like chicago,club ect .

   Ticuan is a great place....I used to stay at Villa Zaragoza, and Ticuan is FAR better. I would compare it with a Harrah's or Harvey's in South Lake Tahoe....I love the shower, its perfect for two.

I think they have raised thier rates though, I recall paying $64 on weekends and I think around $58 or so on weekdays back in July.

Another good thing about Ticuan is thier bar, convienient and affordable. And the hotel also comps guests to Las Pulgas, always a good place to dance and work on picking up civilian chicas.

I will be arriving Thursday evening, (sept 2) straight to Ticuan and then probably head to Hong Kong...unless my favorita wants an all nighter with me.

Yes it's totally drama free for the girls. A couple trips back I was getting on the elevator with my chica (who used to work Hong Kong) and one of the bell-boy's was escorting a young fresh chica to someone's room. I heard him ask her 'ello es un cliente???' asking her if she was visiting a client....my chica smiled as we both heard this, and she then said 'she works Hong Kong days....'

I have also seen some very nice looking girls in the lobby awaiting their companions.

Although it is a 8-10 minute walk to Adelitas/Hong Kong area. I do it in daytime no problem, but probably wouldn't after dark. But you can always catch a taxi libre and I have never been turned down when I offer 30 pesos to Hong Kong from Ticuan....just make sure you offer and they accept before you get in the cab; this way they know you will find someone else if they don't take it.

well i just made a resevation ,and the price they gave me was 1100 and 1150 or something like that but i picked the super suite with all the hot tubs and stuff ,the really nice room ,just thought i spurge a little

I'm curious though: did any of you guys have to give a cc# to secure a room? They never asked me, but sent me a confirmation email anyway... I hope I did it right.

If you read the fine print, it a confirmation of a reservation, NOT a guarantee of a reservation.

I have never had a problem, but there is always a first time.

yes i made a reservation and it said that ,so i think what they are trying to say is ,if someone walks one with cash before you get there they are going to give up the room ,,they AINT HOLDING SHIT . if people start walking up

Keep in mind, if you *DO* use your CC for a confirmed room....for me, I use my BofA debit card, and they add on 'international exchange fees' which is a percentage of the amount charged. So don't pay for all nights, just the first. I think it came out to about $2 for a one night hold....from now on I won't give my CC and just do the 'hold', as I usually check in on Thursdays...

I'm not sure if all banks charge extra or not.

And to the person asking about ATT coverage, I can't answer but I have Tmobile and I get a decent signal in the hotel room, from a USA tower....so no roaming charges. But get out on foot from the hotel and your roaming. I also get a USA tower in most of Zona Norte.
