   I'm going to Guadalajara for about a month, but I'm having difficulty finding any information about it here on these international boards. Could a kind soul please help me out?

I wrote a TR on Guadalajara, Mexico in 2006, I believe. Have you taken a look at it? Of course, details have changed since then, but I doubt that the general description of the scene has changed much.

Strips clubs are way too expensive for Mexico. There are several well-known brothels that all the foreigners talk about, but which seem to like charging foreigners inflated prices, like US$ 100 or more. But I did find at one nice place in the center of town that had a good selection of girls and that had appropriate prices, which I wrote about in my TR.

Like I said, no doubt some specifics may have changed. But please be aware that you don't need to spend US$ 100 or more to have great sessions with nice-looking girls, regardless of what they might say on ISG.

Hey, bro,

No, it's not the south of Mexico that has messed-up prices. I think it has more to do with tourist spots and big cities.

Popular tourist spots, like Cancún and Los Cabos, seem to have way inflated prices due to foreign tourists.

Big cities appear to have higher prices, because, well, people will tell you it is dangerous to check out the chepaer places. Or they will insist, incorrectly, that the girls are not as good-looking at the cheaper places. Though, yes, there are obviously places in big cities where you probably wouldn't want to go to. But the "spa" Mediterraneo in Guadalajara, which I mention in my TR, isn't one of them--it's in a very safe location.

I lived for a while way in the south of Mexico, in Oaxaca, and prices there are awesome. So, no, the South is actually very good price-wise. It's just that, compared to the border towns, it is not a magnet for prostitutes or hobbiests. For example, you can expect that none of the girls can speak English, so that obviously doesn't make it easy for foreign hobbiests. But prices for some really hot chicas in Oaxaca or Chiapas are like US $50 for half an hour at brothels.
