   Fellow Rb'ers,
i visted PAris last week and have some information to share regarding pigalle- the rld of paris.
Before going i had taken advise from a few memebers who told me to avoind this place and they were so correct. I have something more to add to it.
I wandered around pigalle just to see what the place is like.
The place is a nightmare. There are these night club/cabarets all over the street, next to each other with their touts standing in front trying to entice you to walk in. I had read the reports and so didnt pay any attention to them but my buddy wanted to check them out anyways.
These touts are horrible. they will hold your hand and drag you to the clubs entrance, then they will say " this is a night club not a cabarte", " we have a great show going on inside " which is an BIG lie. then they will say they have live sex - inside again a big lie.
My friend wanted to go inside one but i refused and walked away. the tout started shouting and it was all a very shady experience. They will tell you that entry is Euro 10 inlcding drink, no obligation you can come out anytime--DO NOT TRUST THEM.
My friend went inside a place called EVA bar opposite the moulin rouge. The club was very small , there was a bar at the entrance and 3 girls inside and a bartebder....
one was a french, a black and one some other nationality...the tout had earlier said there are 8-9 girls inside.
the girls grabbed him and took him inside. sat down talked to him in broken english and all of a sudden the bartender comes with his drink and a drink for the girl.
The girl finished her drink and bang..came another drink,,soon the black girl started performing a striptease--she was uglyy. Soon thereafter the girls asked him if hwe would like a chanpage...(at this time he rememberd my warnings about all this so he got up and started to leave) this creatde a big scene , the bartender who was very aggressive caught him by the neck and told him to pay Euro 760.
The show was not free it is E120, th champagne whihc was not even opened was Euro 300, the drinks for the girls were euro 85 each. And they have all this on a menu which they dont tell you about when you enter.
enraged my friend tried to get out of it by offering topay just for the drinks. after a big verbal and some physical fight he managed to get out of there but had to part with all his cash (about euro300).

These places are a complete rip -off so far i had only read, but now i have this experience.
Guys please be careful in Paris and please stay away from these joints.
Use that money wisely towards the German FKK's:)

   Club Lolita is a legitimate club, at least it was the last time I was there a few years ago. It costs about $50USD to enter. They have a live sex show and offer private shows, as well. I did not partake in the private shows. The women were attractive. I stayed for two sets. LW

I visited Paris in 1976 and happened to me also at place Pigalle. Entrance to club 5Fr=1$, short strip-tease, champagne, and... waiter with bill 375 Francs = 75$. No way to escape from this place and bartender forced me to pay bill. I`m suprised 27 yrs later this club is open.

   Lolita's has stayed open because people still go in there, despite widespread info on the scams. E300? Good god.

   Back in 1998 I was drunk and I fell into one of these places but I had a good time with an expired credit card.

I took a young Palistinian provider and a bottle of champagne up stairs and had an excellent time. When the bill came with a charge of $900.00 on it I denied everything and they believed me.

Don't try this unless you are me.

   You will find the same type of scam in London and Hong Kong.
The one time it happened to me in Hong Kong, I started yelling
at the bartender. I guess the manager did not want to cause
a scene in front of all the other guests who wisely chose to
sit in an area other than at the the bar with all the other
hostesses. So I just wound up paying for just the entrance fee.

   I was in Paris a year ago and it happened to me twice. I thought was smart and read all about the scams, but I was stupid and got taken.
I was walking back to the metro from the Moulin Rouge show, when I walked by the Central club and there was a really cute tout at the door. She seemed really nice and said I could come in for a drink and she would wave the entrance fee of 20 Euros, being a sucker for cute sweet talking woman I decided to go in for a few minutes. As soon as I walked in I was swarmed over by 3 lovely stripper chicks. One sat on my lap giving me a topless nude lapdance. She had her hands rubbing between my leggs and my hands were all over her natual boobs. I had one drink and she slammed down 2 drinks and she wanted me to go up stairs with her for a more private dance where we could f*** as she whispered in my ear. I declined and decided to leave. As I was leaving the bartender gives me the bill that is 300 Euros and says pay up. I told him I only had one drink and how did he arrive at 300 Euros. He pulls out this price list and says the girl had 2 drinks at xxxx, her time is xxxx, and my drink is xxxx. I said I am not going to pay and then the shouting match started with the dancers and bartender ganging up on me. I just wanted to get the hell out of there so I paid the bill with my credit card and contested it later. Luckily the bank reversed the charge.

A few days later I was walking town the street sight seeing and doing some shopping when these 2 gorgeous women come up to me and say they are going to a club to do some dancing and ask me to join them. I say sure and end up at a club dancing with them and they are drinking like a fish. A half hour later a bottle of champaigne comes out and I say no thanks and decided to leave. I realized this was a scam and I didn't want to be taked again. As I am leaving the barender gives be a bill of 300 Euros and a bouncer who looks like Zena is standing at the door. I ask him to give a run down of the bill and I said I only had 2 beers and the women had 3 drinks each. How does that equal 300 Euro. He said I had ordered the champaigne, but I told him we didn't drink it and I told them to take it back. After a bit of yelling and getting hot under the collar, they let me go with paying 100 Euros. I could have taken care of Zena, but didn't want to go to Jail for hitting a woman. Of couse all this time the 2 women are no where in site.

Later I see them again as I walking back to the Metro picking up another sucker. I was so mad and embarrassed that I fell for the scam I just kept on walking and didn't stop to help the poor slop out. Bad on me.

   I got punched once about 10 years ago by a bouncer in a brothel in Paris. It shocked me more than hurt me as I still had my willie in a provider but she wanted me to stop fucking her before I had cum so she yelled. I should have punched the little bouncer back but I didn't want to ruin thier little European traditions (They are so cute.) It was only $20 anyway.

   Had a bad experience as well in Pigalle in '97. Paid my entrance fee, went in and got my free drink. Took a sip and decided I wanted to leave cause the inside was not what I expected and the girls were ugly. So, I got up to leave and the bouncer blocked my way and asked what I thought I was doing. Kinda freaked out, but managed to think to tell him that I justed wanted to use the bathroom.

Was hoping there was a window or something in the bathroom (like in the movies - LOL!). I was pretty scared and thinking they could seriously inflict some physical harm, so when I finally got up the courage I bolted out of the bathroom but the bouncer tried to block my escape and I ended up knocking him over. Still he managed to grab onto one of my legs and I fell down half way out the door. There were 3 americans tourists that were in front and I asked them to help me. They ended up grabbing my arms and pulling me out! Saved my ass and in the process they figured they didn't want to go in either.
