"Any Google stock opinions?"

Is anyone following google stock. How has it been doing, and what is the outlook?

I have a bunch of microsoft stock that sucks and am looking to trade out.

I can tell you how it has been doing. A 32% appreciation in the last 52 weeks. Institutions (Mutual Funds) have increased thier holding by 5.8%. But there have been insiders seling, so far last month 7.3% of the shares held by insiders have been sold. This is from Yahoo's page on insiders transactions. I think if that much of the shares are being sold maybe you should keep your powder dry.
There are so many other companies that can give you just as good of a return. c_j

I was under the impression that insider shares are scheduled, if so, how is it valid to follow insider sales in the real time market?

It is probably not valid for day traders or other short term time frames but in the past insiders have been able to pick a stocks top and bottom ranges at pretty good regularity. But like another post listed I also really thought the IPO of $85 was going to be another internet bust. c_j
