Has anyone here heard or used this product, the Gevey Sim Card? It claims to unlock your iPhone 3G.

Although I haven't tried that product, I've bought other items from them before and wasn't disappointed.

They now sell unlocked iphones directly from Apple in Hong Kong
http://blog.wired.com/gadgets/2008/09/unlocked-iphone.html

so it will be just a matter of time before you can buy unlocked iphones imported from HK on the grey market here

Thanks! Eventually, Apple will have to provide the unlock code to their customers ...

I maybe off here, but its my understanding that once the 2 year contract is over, they are obligated to provide you with the unlock code if you choose to leave AT&T.
