   I posted this when the Dodgers first got Manny. With Manny in their lineup, there was no reason for them to "NOT WIN" the weak NL West, which they did. I may not have said it exactly like this, but once in the playoffs, "Manny simply being Manny", there is a possibility that they could win it all.

The pitching is strong, the young players have developed confidence, Furcal is healthy, Nomar is available off the bench, and best of all..............Jeff Kent is not playing, lol...........Don't be surprised if the Dodgers win the World Sereis.

Plus, Joe Torre deserves compliments for his ability to manage the veterans and youngsters. JMHO

   Well at least i don't have to rely on another team to beat our rival. As giants fans always do. Nothing more pathetic than cheering another team to beat a team you hate. I have never gone that low. When my team is done I'm done. Have fun rooting for the phillies. Gotta be more entertaining than cheering the giants.

I am but your statement is not true. The only time i care is when the giants and Dodgers play each other. But that's just me. Why in the hell would i watch the giants play if the Dodgers are not there.
