I don't know? There was something about the forward momentum that looked a bit phony, like he was assisted by a cable. I could be wrong though.... I do root for the Giants after all.

   I noticed he shifted fwd on the platform on his last jump to the hoop.
Perhaps if he hit just the right spot, all that energy could propel
him fwd quite fast, almost like a pinched rock shooting out from a road bike tire. Just a theory.

I don't buy it. He shot out at too horizontal an angle to get that far. There should have been a more curved arc to his trajectory.
