"niners vs chargers"

It was an interesting game. A lot of people were used to see who would stay and who would go.
I thought that Carr did a good job but wasn’t in there all that long.
The “D” was good again and except for one breakdown it held the Chargers fairly well contained. Even got some sacks and interceptions. They were even good down to the fourth string level.
What killed us were the special teams. Here we go again with that bunch.
The “O” just couldn’t produce in quantity.
Still even in preseason it is nice to be 4-0

I didn't see the whole game, but I thought their open field tackling was not good.

For example, it may have been near the start of the game, and the SD QB handed off to their runner. He made it passed the line and a couple of yards into open territory, and the Defensive guy, not sure who, was a few yards ahead, and took a horrible angle to the runner. It wasn't that the runner did some kind of head fake/body fake, it is that the defensive guy was about a foot off the target, like he had double vision and chose the wrong image to tackle.
