"Paris Hilton thought cocaine was gum???"
 
   Paris Hilton is confused. And why shouldn't she be? Cocaine does bear a striking resemblance to chewing gum. So it would be natural for her to think a little white baggie of the former, which fell out of her purse during a traffic stop last weekend, was actually the latter. Wouldn't it?

The 29-year-old hotel heiress and her nightclub owner boyfriend Cy Waits were pulled over in Las Vegas because officers said they smelled marijuana smoke wafting from their car. Not only did Hilton claim the bag containing .8 grams of coke wasn't hers -- nor was the purse because it was "too cheap" -- she also said of the mysterious substance that "she had not seen it but now thought it was gum," according to the police report. The authorities didn't buy it and charged her with felony drug possession.

The party princess may be the laughingstock of Hollywood with her newest version of "the dog ate my homework," but she isn't the first celeb to lie her way out of a pickle. Here are some of our favorite excuses stars have concocted when they're caught with their pants down:

I heard on the radio this morning that her Twitter page (or whatever you call it, I don't use that stupid fucking time-waster) has a post of her talking about this new bag she bought, complete with a picture of her showing it off.

You have three guesses about which bag is shown in that post.

Nah. she'll get probation. She may not like the conditions, and may violate them and go to jail, but she'll get probation first.

   I just think that she and Lohan would just get raped in prison and get this "scared straight" shit out of the way. Celeb's and celeb wanna-be's should really be prosecuted to the max. Even Downey wasnt treated bad and he turned out ok. I think they should slam dunk people like that. It straightens them out in the long run!

   Steve Wynn owner of Wynn and Encore hotels in LV has fired her boyfriend as mightclub manager of both resorts. The great move was the announcement that Ms.Paris Hilton is now BANNED from both properties.Hopefully other hotels will wake up and stop paying this snooty brat these huge appearence fees.
