Good game tonight Buster! The Giants may be a game behind, But they are 2 games down in the loss column. The Giants are looking good. The effing Dodgers look like shit. Wonder if Huff packed his red thong for the rest of the road trip. Buster, you and the boys keep up the good work. Go Giants!!!!!

Giants are a game back. 25 games left for both the G-Men and the Padres. They play each other six more times, including the final three of the regular season here in San Francisco. You really couldn't ask for a more exciting scenario.

Getting past teams like the Braves or Yankees may be a little tougher, but for now, let's enjoy the ride.

A real good test for the Giants going down the stretch. With the games between the Padres still to play it will show what they are made of.Let's just hope the pitching holds up. Sanchez threw a beauty tonight. Now lets go into Arizona and continue this way of playing.

Sure you could. It could have happened back in the 1960's, when baseball was just better.

The Giants will go into San Diego this upcoming Thursday for a very important 4 game series. I'm hoping the hitting and ability to drive in runners in scoring position will show up for the Giants in this series against San Diego. It will be nice for the Giants to be in first place once they leave San Diego on Sept. 13th.

The Giants need to keep there mouths shut ( Jonathon Sanchez) when they play San Diego this week....... San Diego Owns San Francisco this season...... I still haven't figured out How and Why San Diego has seemingly been in first place this season. The only guy on that team that I know is Gonzalez..... I know they've gone out and brought in some players Ludwick and Tejada.... I just think the Giants are the Better team this season in the West.....Now all they have to do is go out and Prove it !!!

I haven't looked and studied the stats but I gotta believe the big difference between the teams this year has to be the pitching. The Giants just have not performed pitching wise the way we thought they would this year.I'm rooting like hell for the Giants but still feel the Padres will take them due to there young pitching staff and the fact the Giants have not done well against them all year. I hope I'm wrong.....

The last team to lose 10 straight in first place was 73 years ago.
