"This week in LA - Fantastic Massage and Pico."
 
   Okay, I am check out some places in LA this week, here's what I found:

1. Went to Fantastic Massage in Van Nuys, a big disappointment, considering their ads in LA EXpress make it look like a fun place. I called in advance, and Mamasan said "We have 7 beautiful girls working today", so I went there on Wednesday afternoon, and got a nice massage with absolutely NO extras from a cute girl from Singapore (about 35 years old). Massage was 60$ for an hour, plus a 30$ tip requested in advance. How lame. And I noticed their ad this week in the LA Express again showed 3 caucausian women and claimed to have Latinas on staff. This place is totally lame. I asked them if they had any LATINAS working and could I get one? No dice.

2. I went to Japanese Massage on Pico, and got a massage from Hannah, a 40+ Chinese woman. Looks - 4. Service - 5. 100$ entrance fee, plus she asked for a 200$(!!!!) service fee. What a joke. Are you kidding me?

I'm glad I live in SF. LA Amping seems to be quite bad this week!

   You just went to some bad places. The AMP scene in LA took a big hit back in '05 when the Inglewood busts started happening. A lot of girls moved to SM and other areas, but SM started cracking down too. They are still out there, but it's almost not worth it anymore.

   I went to Japanese Massage about 3 years ago and Hanna was there. Didn't like her, didn't like the massage, didn't like her attitude, started going to aamp's after that and never looked back.

SM Amp's are a waste - a total waste - of time and money.

I have found, in my 'limited' experience that any kind of request for fees 'up front' is a bad omen of things to come. NEVER, oh but I mean NEVER EVER EVER, give the mamsan or the RA at the 'counter' or entrance the 'tip' or other fees. If they ask, tell 'em you'll give 'em to the RA you get or just leave, that's what I mostly do. I've run into it a few times and when they ask you to pay for something you 'think' you might get upfront there's a good reason for it.

There are still some decent AMPs in LA, and they are cautious but the ones where they ask for fees up front are ones to run away from. I don't know how many suckers they can live off of, but I don't think they can last long.

It sucks when you're from out of town and don't know where to go, but for those of us who are locals, it pays to become a regular...

   The AMPs may be down in LA, but the AAMPs are way up. If you check the Asian selection on cityvibe (http://los-angeles-escorts.cityvibe.com/escorts/?do=catview&cat=B4) you will see there are tons of hot providers available, most of whom provide GFE.

   Its not what it used to be but there is still plenty of the standard AMP service. SM has a couple spots, older ladies, regular prices, decent service.
West Hollywood has some spots too.
