"Decriminalize LA Pro-Sex Worker Activism"

Hi! My name is Raven. I'm new to this board and, as a sex worker, I just commenced an organization called, "Decriminalize LA, " which is aimed towards the liberation of sex workers and their bodies from the criminal anti-prostitution laws. If you want to know more about it, you can read up on my group page @ <http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=158677160767&ref=mf> I also have a blog which you can read up on me at my blog @ <http://decriminalizela.blogspot.com/> If you see the funny pictures, don't mind, I was once - and naturally am - a comedian and I use comedy to get my point across. Again, I am very serious about getting prostitution decriminalized in my new home of LA (previously I lived in NY. However, I'm from New Orleans) and making sure that the hypocrites in the "House" (House of Representatives) keep their hands off of our bodies! Please make this organization active so that we can get the ball rolling and free our bodies! For more information, you can contact me at mykonos676@yahoo.com or you can go to my page listed above @ <http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=158677160767&ref=mf> Thank you.

Very good idea and welcome to California Raven! In the US each state has the power to decide whether or not prostitution is legal in that state OR PART OF THAT STATE.(not a government in Washington D.C.) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prostitution_in_the_United_States In my opinion prostitution can be legal in small area of LA ( one postal zip code) (like Zona Norte in Tijuana or Wallen in Amsterdam) but illegal in other parts of California. My guess use initiative ballot proposition in the next California or LA elections. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_ballot_proposition and good luck.
